toping/ FIM

Haha tell me about it..The one I'm about to post is better though. Definitely looks like I topped it right though right?
 
Looks fine too me. Do not stress to much about, mj is ridiculously resilient in the sense that the plant acts like a 7 headed dragon. Call it weed because under natural circumstances it is not easy to get rid of if you look at it as a pest, and to those people I say kill the green bastards and I will dispose of them for you free of charge!!:bigjoint:
 
Whether or not it was successful or not is still to be determined in the sense that the strain you have might be freak and wig out after getting topped and through a bunch of sacks when you go to flower... Do not worry, I am just letting you know that some strains do not like cutting that they go into survival mode to pollinate itself to make offspring, feel me?
 
I understand that, I'm more or less talking about if the TOP itself was successful, rather then if my plant will respond well to it
 
a cut is a cut homie, its just reacting to becoming an amputee. That is why fimming is also an option. I have tried to fim and still got one growth but the auxins still redistributed a little because all of the lower grew up around the cola but they were not as big, I mean almost an even canopy but one still dominating bud... saw the same thing happening this time and did the same as you, my journal is proof then too ease your nerves, that this plant is pretty resilient and will let you know well before she keels over and dies.

Yep I did it blind folded just to test my ninja skills..:clap:

But seriously, (n00b thing goin on) when you top ur babies do you catch a wiff of skunk...topped mine yesterday and man I didn't wana take my face away, it put me in a trance..lol

Depends on the strain.... some of mine stink like skunk while vegging..some no smell at all....if u haven't ever been up close n personal w a plant in full flower....a dank plant....ur in for an experience....don't underestimate how strong the smell can b...I had two plan s that u could smell standing in my driveway....tide w febreeze poured on driveway n sprayed w hose saved me...and a lot of pinesol...they started real bad round week 3...was like that thru rest of grow and drying...

Nah, mine doesn't smell much unless I start moving things around.

Ya I noticed that it was only 2 that smelled like that, I still have the toppings..lol, the other 2 (my best 2) didn't really 'stink' but didnt smell like cut grass either...and I'm all for a FIM'ing club, if I could figure out how to fuck it up properly...I don't think I have it in me, ninja skills aside..lmfao
