why isnt my plant flowering?

I'm using a small stealth cabinet, I'm not new to this and I've had hundreds of successful plants harvested. However I lost my grow setup because of the DEA raidings. This strain is romulan and its an LST grow. Its been on 12/12 for almost 3 weeks and not one single pistil has emerged from this shit. I'm using happy frog soil mix.

I'm a newbie. I have not had 100's of successful plants grown. I am on my fourth grow.

Based on the information and lack of pictures these are my guesses in no particular order.

The plant is to young to flower
Light leak
It has ruderalis genetics and photoperiod does not trigger flowering.

I am sure there can be LOTS of other reasons. But there you go my best guesses. Good luck with your grow.

You know I wondered that too. But my growing experience has mostly been limited to feminized seeds and clones I've taken from them. But I'd heard that males usually grow faster than females. I don't know if that's true and I have no experience. But I wondered if that could be it.

I have to believe that with a join date of 2011, and only 22 posts, either this is just a part time hobby for him, or trolling.

As I'm a noob too, the only other thing I can think of was a landrace sativa usually grown near the equator....some strains can take 4-5 months to start flowering...

Theres no way its a male because the clone came from my old grow room which had 78 plants lol. Here are some pictures of the LST Romulan.

Ok take this with a huge grain of salt based on that dark green/black I'd lower the nitrogen and then just keep waiting.

give her time, she will flower. What were you running the lights at before 12-12? Also try dropping temps that can promote flowering as well.

I'm using 3 26 watt CFL. I used soft white for veg and yellow for flowering. I wish I still had my LEDs I had 800 Watt solarflares and they grew some dank shit.

Beware of misleading advice, some growers use the canna bible as their credibility. With time you'll learn how to read your plants.

One thing hinted at, but not directly mentioned, and you haven't said what you are feeding, is that too much N will slow the growth of flowers.

Are you 100% sure that there is not a light leak somewhere or even lights from componets....timers...etc. You know its a female because its a clone sooo......On your previous grows with this strain...how long did it take before you saw pistles show up. Did you go to feeding with a higher p&k when you went to 12/12?

I have grown out hundreds of regular seeds....Very limited wk with Fems.....and yes at first it was a bitch to tell what was what but after a while....it became pretty clear what was what and honestly there are some tell tell signs other then preflowers that plants exhibit before preflowers show up.....and If there were some that were just not definitive...I would just wait it out...eventually preflowers would appear and 9x out of 10...those ones that took long like that turned out to be males BUT..every now and then I would have a girl surprise me like that.
