It sounds like this might be a matter of personal taste and metabolism. All of the resin from incinerated plant material that I have sampled, tasted like an ashtray even after a hexane/brine wash and was sedative rather than cerebral.
Here is some separating in a makeshift separatory funnel and the end yellow product, which I had to redissolve and charcoal wash to get rid of the burned taste.

Now your getting personal, oil be it honey or the shit you can make with isoprophil. Cooked my last batch 5 times and there was still thc left in the washed out plant matter. I been analyze this residue for years and come to one result, it's cooked thc oil, this resin is as pure thc as your going to get. THC extract needs heat and fire is as hot as it's going to get.
A normal pipe will turn this resin gross, the unburnt plant matter that Majicly slips into the can absords this pure oil. Smoke this straight and im glad i live in a cold climate, it'll compare with your honey oil cooked with the highest grade possible.
My stuff i grow is one toke high, rated at 14%, through the can with resin attached 28% (forms into chunks too) Percentages are a guess, black hash is supposedly 80%, this hot uppy high is comparable, can't wait till i start babbleing.
Try the fucking can man first before any more negative responces likes, etc, etc, etc. If there was a homemade section I would have put it there, no shit heads.

I came back to add that i smoke nothing but Sativa, i suppose if you were smokin indica then the resin oil thc would be sleepy, dam good medicine.
You above should get out and buy the stock on V8 juice, all this advertising, your bound to make a Majic buck.

I hand rubbed some hash Indian style this weekend, Charras is lots of work but awesome.
I'd rather do that than smoke that wierd stuff you are advertising as magic. At least there is some science involved.

I get it, if your still there, your the guy who throws excellent dope away to make honey oil, figures. Nobody in their right mind would use good dope to make 'lower grade' oil. By the way what kind of 'fire' do u use to smoke your oil with? You won't have to worry about any resin being left, will you.

make a buck eh? too bad you'll forget where you put that buck due to the aluminum fumes causing alzheimer's. personally I take 2 ounces of good popcorn or fuck it I don't mind spraying a little butane thru top buds. because I know when I do I'm gonna have a 1/4 ounce of some of the tastiest oil that packs a real punch. my fave way to do it is melt it over a freshly packed bowl of some of the bud that the oil was extracted from(not the extracted bud of course), I'd load you a bowl of that in the morning and you'd still be smoking it that evening. until you've tried a real concentrate you won't understand why these people are bad mouthing you.

I made a pipe out of aluminum in high school, had it until a crack head stold it, Me and all the friends are altimers cases now, oh it was the aluminum! Really. I don't even bother scraping the ink off anymore, it's so thin it's non existant, been using the same can for over a yr and the screen is 100%. There's no diff, it's quite safe.
THC Resin, that black, stinky, sticky, tastes like total shit, stuff, that were all familiar with. The can makes this under-rated thc resin retievable. It's the can that's majic. Take a hit, your just smokin like any pipe, done right? but this can isn't finished, totally freaks me out every time I clean it.
The good black hash we use to get, got busted in Halifax, now the best dope i can get i make, Majicly. Cheers.

try smoking a golden, yellow, or even clearish oil. youll really know what being high and having a nice taste in your mouth is like.

According to the Merk index, THC is light yellow. How do you account for the black color, if you have indeed purified it?

How is honey oil less strong than the weed itself? Honey oil takes all the trichromes and concentrates them together. The fresh bud used to make bho has never been smoked, thus, it's not concentrating carcinogens and it isn't already missing most of the thc content from when you incinerated it originally. Ya you may get high off your 5-10% thc resin bullcrap. But, you will get 7 times or more higher if you smoke bho that is rated at 90% thc content.
Do some homework dude. Your math and chemistry just doesn't stand up to the laws of nature. Sorry, if you feel like you failed now. Upon realization of that thought you can grow into an upgraded version of yourself.
