there are definitely situations where LEO's are of benefit

Although I do agree with the state sponsored schooling....for parents who can dedicate the time or have the resources to do so...unschooling movement anyone..

we have some no good neighborhood kids here who like to do some petty stealing from the yards around here. how long do you want to bet it will be before one of them chooses the wrong yard to try to steal from and gets themselves shot?

Silly....I have had numerous encounters on the road with leo's mainly for trespassing while train hopping and every single time I treated them decently and they had no qualms with me...I've had grams of dmsters and vile's on me and no hassle from the fuzz if you just give them a straight look in the eye and act like a fucking man they have always let me go from Oregon to Nevada to North Dakota even fucking Arizona there not just out to get you....unless you give them ample reason...and quite frankly there was some crazy fuckers in apt. right across the street from me just letting loose shot off about 8 rounds and killed someone and the leo's where there in a matter of minutes from the first shot (about 2-3 actually) and I for one and glad they came out to protect the neighborhood I've got kids and I don't need some crazy fucker shooting the neighborhood up...but then again nobody should have called the cops...could have hurt someone....

The possibility of getting shot is a better deterrent than the possibility of getting grounded. All you really need to do though is go on your porch and fire off 2 shots from your double barrel. When it comes to minors in the yard this should suffice, home invasions, probably not.

You cannot avoid taxes. My property taxes pay for the public schools. I will send my kid to those schools.

I will call the cops if there is a violent assault or theft taking place.

I vote in local and state elections.
