How much would you pay for a half pd. of medicinal?

I am asking this question because I do not grow, but has a friend who indeed does and currently has some Blue Dream that said he'll give me for real cheap. He offered it to me for $1850. I don't know if that is too high or not but normally I get a QP from him for 1k sometimes a little less.
Would you guys do it if it was Homegrown shit?

That seems a bit up there, but who knows. I'm actually currently growing so I won't have pay money at all. You should do the same. It's 1000x more cheaper and you could make a lot of money or smoke for god knows how long without having to get more

Yup this is my first time growing. Currently I have 3 plants growing of California Dream that I got from Big Bud. It's 20 days in and thier already starting to flower, thier about 2 feet tall aswell.

I water them every whenever I feel that the soil is dry, and the soil I have already has nutrients and what not in it so I should be good but I'm not 100% sure.

I personally like to use bottled water when I water my babies, and I check to see if the soil is dry and when and if it is I'll pour water all around the soil of the plant but NEVER on the plant cause that dosen't water it and can be harmful.
I germinated my seeds by letting them sit in a cup of water for 2 whole days and then I took out the ones that sprouted and placed them on a damp paper towel that was over plate and then folded the paper towel and put a bowl over the plate blocking all light and left it in my closet for 1 whole day until the sprout got longer and that's when I planted them.

well i most likely would not pay as much as 1850 unless it was really some bomb bud, If its coming straight from a grower that your friends with I would expect a slightly discounted price. Prices on bud may vary in different areas, outdoor grown bud I can get a pound for 1600, that's a hundred dollars an ounce which is fair, It can be even cheaper during harvest season.

i wouldnt pay it but have a few buddies that go in on a pound of medical every so often last i heard 4500 to 5000 for some blue cheese but i smelt it when my buddy walked through the door and i wasnt the one who answered it talk about smelled through 2 ziplocs and across the room dank

$1,800 a half lb is about right in most areas. He is not giving you a great deal as a friend but most don't. I know people that pay more.

That price seems high to me if you are in a medical state, the value really varies a lot from place to place because of supply and demand and the laws involved, for instance in cali where the marijuana market is saturated you can pick up a pound for about 2k from a broker, but in new york where its not legal to grow and there is such demand you could pay 6k for a pound...

As far as growing goes you could spend 1k on equipment and get a very decent harvest, but unless you do your research you are most likely going to end up with nothing your first few try's...
