My Stealth Grow - My Results

I didn't keep this journal here but I will next grow..I like the forum where I've been but this one seems more soil oriented so..

I just finished my grow..I grow one grow per year. This grow, I went with 3 plants. They got 22" tall. I use and HID system, FF soil and FloraNova nutes with this and that additive during flower.

My first grow I got about 6oz from 2 plants. My second grow I got 10oz from 3 plants. Three is my max in this space which is 2' deep x 3' wide x 4' tall. The growing area is only about 3' tall. This is my third grow.

I use LST although this grow it didn't work as well because I used soft sided smart pots. Good for growing, bad for LST. Next grow I'll go air pots. Same result as smart pots just with hard sides.

This grow my yield really increased. I harvested, now dry and curing, 12.5oz of buds trimmed with very little stem and 2.9oz of sugar leaf and bud trim. I defoliated this grow of fan leaves and had very few in the way at harvest time. I believe doing this really helps my results. Of course the conditions and the strain also matter huge.

For such a small space, I'm thrilled with these results. In my last grow I had a lot of immature lower buds. In this grow, I had virtually no immature "underbuds" as I call them. This surprised me. While yes they were different strains than last time still...those underbuds from last year turned out phenomenal after a good long curing last year...very nice! Here are a couple of pics of my grow.

There is a lot of hype that defoliating doesn't work. While I'm not extreme in my method and I advise exercising some caution, it definitely works for my situation. No mold or mildew..works great.

Nice grow - well done!
I have a new grow box very similar to yours. I hope to get as good as results!

I am using smart pot and doing some LST with stakes in the soil (4-way LST method). Someone else mention using clips on the side lip of the pot.

What strain did you grow?
30 days from clone looks great. How tall did the plants get? How far away did they end up being from your lamp?
My grow box is also 4' tall. I am going to scrog to manage the plant height.

LST with stakes will probably be fine..clips on the sides didn't work for me but maybe someone else has more experience with smart pots than I do. I grew Kryptonite, Purple Super Silver Haze and Blue Cheese. They got pretty close to the light..1' of the top of the box contains the light and fan/filter. They got 22" tall.

I was late on one watering and the Kryp girl got a little burned but nothing serious. Kept them hydrated and there were fine the rest of the way.

Honestly I got really lucky and built a good environment without knowing what I was doing then dialed it in with help from forums like this one. Now it's on autopilot..plant, water, feed and repeat. Just lucky I guess as so many other growers have issues I've never had.
