24/7 lights

I was keeping my plants under 24/7 lights for the first month or so and recently I switched to 18/6. They been under these conditions now for a couple of weeks. My question is, can I go back to the 24/7 to help them veg quicker or should I just leave them as is. I have only the one T5HO and they have been doing great with just the one (I know more would be better, just not in the budget right now) any advice on which cycle is better?

better for them to be on 18/6 , try to think of a plant on planet earth that doesnt require a sleep period , weeds the same , needs a sleep to do its best , it will grow in 24 but does slightly better in 18

Ya they say the plant builds up energy in the dark period to grow strong the next light period....if I read it right...lol

You can put them back under 24.. wont hurt a thing.. you might be more happy than 18, you might be less happy than 18, but at this point the difference will be negligible. I'd leave it where you have it just so as to keep them as stable and happy/productive as you can before 12. You switch them to 24 now and the plant will have a bit of a hangover for a few days as it readjusts.

Just one guy's random thoughts..

That's right, just sit there waggin ur tail and raisin' that eyebrow...that pups cute..well good luck with whatever you decide, cuz it's just that, your decision. But like ole Jorge said in the book, a 16/8 will show more pronounced pre flowers, sounds like they're more vigorous at that cycle so I'm trying it.

ROTFLMAO sorry dude, was uploading some new pics for ya to see and the damn satellite internet upload speed is HORRIBLE. So check out my journal and tell me what ya think. I've been taking really good care of my ladies, I guess I will keep them on the 18/6 for now since they have a ton of vegging to do yet.

Because cannabis is a c3 plant and it doesn't not need rest in vegetative period. So long as there is light it will photosynthesize.
It will be fine putting it back on 24/0. Which I'd recommend if you have a ton of vegging left to do. Would make it go by 25% quicker.
