I know that some of the older foliage will drop off as the plant matures... As far as for your burnt tips and curling, it could be many things... how frequently are you watering/feeding? at what pH?

I'm a real beginner here. I like to see that tiny bit of burnt tip because it tells me I'm max nutrient and don't move up/back off just a bit. So it's quite possible the loss of my under foliage is due to my mismanagement. But I keep telling myself its the light deprivation. Please don't burst my bubble :)

I water at 6.4 to 6.8 like to keep it a little higher in flower to help p absorption I just did a flush with about 12 gallons of mostly purified water at 6.8 as my runoff was a bit low I never flushed going from veg to flower don't know why was told not to I believe I had a minor lockout due to salt buildup the runoff was extremely yellow which tells me there was a lot of unused nutes in the soil I fed at quarter strength with last gallon and will wait for it to completely dry out and than start feeding watering feeding watering my growth was a bit slow also why I believe I had a lockout does this sound right

i have used the fox farm line for years with great results.. tiger bloom can run a little hot so you have to be careful with it.. what soil are you using? i grow hydro now but when i used to grow soil i used nothing but fox farm with amazing results.. fox farm ocean forest with the trio.. always feed according to chart at 1/2 str up until couple weeks in flower id go to full str.. never needed to add anything else.. the tips on the ones def look burnt.. and the other ones looks like a lock out like u said..

alota problems come when people start adding all kinds of shit to their plants thinking their solving one problem but in return create 10 more.. stick with the basic and you will have great results! stick with a nutrient line as they will provide everything the plant needs when used properly

Do you think I did the right thing by flushing and since I fed quarter strength with last flush gallon should I feed next time or just water

do you flush from the bottom? u might already do this but ill share it anyways.. when i flushed i would fill bath tub with water and SLOWLY submerge pots in bathtub to push the water in from the bottom.. gives you a better flush.. i would then wait until the pots dry out and see how they are looking in the mean time.. and feed once pots are dry (1/2 str).. let water sit in bathtub for a while to let chorine evaporate.. overnight is better but few hours wld be fine..
what soil are you using

i will note that i have never encountered these types of problems as ive always used fox farm soil and trio and went straight from the chart at 1/2 str. water feed water feed. i have had plenty of burnt tips which doesnt bother me as i know they have enough and back down the str of nutes on next feeding.. sticking to the water feed water feed unless bad burn then mayb 2 waterings

No I never flushed that way I am in ffof with 15 percent perlite my bud formation was kinda slow for week 5 wasnt filling in as I expected I think it was due to the salt build up .... Either way a flush couldn't hurt so I figured I'd give it a shot I think I will just feed less from here on it I was dosing the p kinda high ESP adding in big bud along with big bloom and tiger bloom big bloom is so watered down tho I might just switch to the big bud an

i would run more of a 50/50 or even 75/25 perlite i like the extra comfort of them draining faster.. just my 2 cents allows soil to dry up a little quicker.. but yea a good flush wont ever hurt.. ive never encountered problems just sticking to the trio and the chart.. hope they recover for ya!

The curling and burned tips sound like nutrient burn.. What strain are you growing? Some really hate being fed heavy.. I once grew some Thai's and they would curl up if you gave them over 650ppm.. Sativas, especially hazes seem to be more sensitive... U could also have a PH problem or a lockout problem caused by PH or to much of a specific nutrient which can actually cause another nutrient to be locked out. So it will seem like you are not giving it enough of something, but it could really be to much of something else and that can cause another nutrient to get locked out causing what appears to be a problem of not enough...
