if he's gonna start feeding that early maybe half of 1/8th strength would be a bit saferif u want to start feeding then wait till its 2weeks old and start at 1/8th the strength and slowly build to full strength.with earlier feeding u can cause the plant to grow quicker, but u also take the chance for burning the plants.so its really your choice.
the ones i started from seeds still have their small leafs still and they are on the 3rd node but yes don't be freaking out if they are 3 nodes high and the first small leafs die offthe lower leaves are naturally goin to die off, mine often die off at 4days old(i get a 3-4 node bush in 4days after sprouting)thats on 24hours of light,if there 18/6 then it takes 7days for 4-5nodes.
r u using organic nutes? if so that's why , I'm using non organici just pour the nutes straight on to the leaves full strength when they are babies. they love it
I buy 20-20-20 for veg and then flowering food-the funny thing is that the first pair of serrated leaves (the curling ones) aren't dying. Their just curling up. Also what kind of nutes are you guys using? Where do you buy them? Just looking for the best bang for the buck.
-Whats up man. I am currently running 2) 26W 6500k daytimes and 1) 23W soft white CFL. They are about an inch and a half away from the plant, and have soda can reflectors on them to intensify the light. I'll post up a picture in a bit. Also did anyone notice my temps. They were at 88.2F!! Is that entirely bad for the plant? I've heard that hot plants have to use some of their energy/water on cooling themselves, therefore growing slower. My temps are between 82 and 89. The temps go higher when i "box in" the plant at night to keep the light from illuminating my windows. I've got a fan in the works, but what temp. range should I shoot for?. What lights are u running cause we're around the same day and mines is bushy and short but yours is quite taller than mines?
