The pack I bought also came with 'carrier oils' .. Sweet Almond and Grape-seed oil. They are natural oils but have no scent. They are meant to make the aromatic essential oils go further. They can be mixed to make skin creams.

For odour control, I just use them neat. but I was making home-made ona gel.

btw ... Today I noticed new 'ona' like products hitting the market. This is one.



I think its basically my recipe.





They'll be using the orange crystals for orangey smells and green with apple essential oils no doubt.

I'm going to buy a kit of 40 oils available from an online store. The store actually has a choice of over 200 oils.

Has anyone come across 'Vaportek' products before? They make industrial strength odor smellys. NOT OZONE but essential oil diffusers etc. ... I like the look of them. This one has a 90 day cartridge but they do a high-output 120 day cartridge too. Thats just 3 cartridges a year.




Just had a look at the cost of the replacement canisters .... tooo much! :cry:

Thats why its always best to buy the oils separately.

This is the smaller model called the 'Vaportek Vaportronic'. Reportedly its at least as powerful as Ona's pro dispenser. The disc's are essential a piece of material impregnated with their 'patented' formula 'Neutrox Gamma'. but as far as I can tell its just made up of 52 essential oils. I believe these discs can be 'reimpregnated' by soaking in essential oil. I like the look of this because its battery operated and can be hidden high up.



This anti-odor appliance has many advantages because it is widely usable. The Vaportronic is a synthetic holder that can be clicked open. On the inside is a soundless ventilator, driven by a standard 1.5V D-battery. By means of a small screw a stepless interval can be set, varying from:
1 minute rotation - 1 minute silent to 1 mintue rotation - 30 minutes silent. The Vaportronic can be filled with a maximum of 5 discs of 6 or 12 grams and can also be filled with Smell-Away. You can use a rotation system, by which you use a disc every 15 or 30 days, until all the spaces are filled. After that you always replace the oldest disc with a new one. This way you achieve a constant and equal supply of the active substance.
The variable filling, together with the interval switch and the independency of the electrical circuit, provide a perfect odour neutralisation in rooms up to 60 m³.

So i have a huge problem!!!! One i havent encountered in at least 3 or 4 grows.......securedownload-346.jpgsecuredownload-346.jpg oops same photo twice....anyway my problem is almost all of my plants are getting super top heavy lol!

Good problem to have..hard to tell from this crappy pic but my room is full of heavy lil colas just getting fatter day 34 so not quite 5 weeks..which means I had better get to staking since the real weight is about to pack on.

but im sure there are many other stores. That was just the first I came across.

... Its all about the blend ... for instance if you want a fresh linen smell you might use : jasmine, lilac, peony, Egyptian musk and French vanilla. .. I just love this stuff. ... if using on the skin make sure you buy the 'essential' oils rather than the cheaper 'fragrance oil'.

Its a great problem to have. I used to just let the buds hang but I realised it was'nt doing them any good. Bamboo and zip ties worked for me..

Thanks boss, and yeah.. wouldn't skimp on that stuff at all.. would rather put together a decent product given the patient that I would be dealing with. :D

If that is your only problem, I'd say you have nothing to worry about...lol. I can only dream of dealing with that issue.

Hey Moe you don't have to bust me out so hard...LOL! Yes, I'm very pleased with this grow so far though the buds didn't swell much more they are dense as heck. Give me a week and I'll let you know the final weight dry.

Hey moebius, how long did it take you to grow your GDP mom(s) to take X amount of cuttings? I'm almost a month from seed and mine seem to be in slow motion. Lol.

It took a few weeks ... Trust me, I didnt do anything special (except topping early).

Are your lights close enough?
