if it where me i would just use a bag of ffof and put a layer on top of seedling soil. maybe add some bone meal, epsoma, EWC, kelp meal and some coir to the ffof but thats about it.

super busy lately guys so i wont be doing a verry organized update..the pics of the flowering plants should all have thier name tags in the first pic then each pic afterwards is that plant untill you see the next one with a name on it.

the first few are all the fruity chronic juice clones. (re vegged)

and im sure you can dechipker the rest. things seem to be chugging right along but im afraid that they should be more advanced than they are...

went over to the grow today to find every plant bone dry and almost dead (another day in thier condition and i would have lost my crop) some were just starting to wilt, others werent there yet but judging by the weight of the pots they were all in dyer need of a drink...spent 3-4 hours watering them making sure to completly saturate the soil...when they dry out that much they the soil tends to become hydophobic and dosent want to absorb moisture (kinda like a really dry sponge)

also noticed some blemishes on my plants...tried to figure out what they were but no luck. I checked the PH of my watering solution to find out it was at 4.1 ouch >< so i top dressed with lime and PH up the nutrient mix till it was around 7.0...hopefully this will help stabalize the PH. last 2 plants in late flower have been having issues and now i know what they are. will be adjusting my PH every watering from here on out to try and make sure these ladies dont get any lockout..i need a bumper harvest because this may be my last one for a while. if i can pull 1g/w I will be pretty stoked but i think over 2 lbs is kinda a pipe dream.

verry verry dissapointed in myself for allowing my plants to get this neglected...with everything going on im lucky to make it over there for a hour every 3 days..seems i have too many projects going on right now. Not really sure how im going to remedy this but it may include a scaling down or stopping of the grow when this harvest is done...again im not sure but i need to do something...once i start work theres no way ill have time for all this and my family.

anyways enough crying....heres the ladies. almost ashamed to show them in this rough of shape but it is what it is.

nah man i am really bent about letting them get the way they are....im not a perfectionist but theres no reason i couldnt have ben PHing my nutrient solution long before this especially with all the signs along the way indicating deficiency...and like i said i feed plenty.

im still feeding 5 ml per gal of grow formula but have pretty much started the midflower feeding schedule. so they are getting 10 ml bloom, 5 ml grow, 5 ml bud, 5 ml weed (seaweed) and a shot od CaMg again this week due to my PH issue wanted to give them the full lineup.

yeah its going into flower verry soon, probabally today. just waiting on the ole timer to chop his bagseed plant down so i can have the space for my bucket. a week of veg nutrients....then rez change and ill do 50/50 veg/bloom for a week then a rez change and full blown bloom, maybe a ml of veg just to keep the N up in there.

anyways...what have you guys read about using molasses? i have been feedign about 5ml per gal oof molasses to help feed my micro's in my soil..and i have read that thats whats causing the PH to drop so significantly. so now i need to find something that will feed my mycrobiology and not swing my PH so far out of wack....had to use almost a 1/2 of a bottle of PH up to get 10 gallons of water to a PH of 6.8-7.0 :(

what have you guys read about using molasses?
I don't know anything about molasses except my grandfather made me eat molasses and onion sandwiches when I was little. Yummy. I’m just waiting to read whatever you find out and post about the subject. Lol Plants do look great Matt even though I feel like calling Child Marijuana Protective Services on you for neglect and deprivation of basic fundamentals to support life.

Supposed to be food for the bennies in your roots. Never tried it, i think its weird ;)
well thats exactly what it is ninja...and supposedly its really good for your soil ecosystem...BUT i never knew it changed the soil PH so much.. so im going to have to nutralize it when i use it..

Oh and i have placed the DWC in the flower rooom. topped it before i put it in and will be trying to clone the top to keep the genetics around. also plopped a pineapple express and a purple haze into the rapid rooter plugs so will see how that goes.

To me this seems like more work and more money but a good result. I know that theres other things out there that do the same thing as molasses that cost more at hydro stores. Im talking particularly about those grape, banana, and sugar cane sweeteners. I hope im using the right terminology here but, would those keep a better ph? Are they buffered to ph 6?

IDK, i think eventually ill try sweetners, ive had enough friends tell me about the bennies. Im still tryin out some basics right now but eventually when i think i know how to harness good root system organic colonies ill try it. I run straight synthetic so my amendment of my soil has to come around first i think. Did you pull the trigger on the goo yet, she flipped? Hows the other goo doing, i missed the update pic. I voted for WWxBB but i think that blueberry plant is my fav by far :):):)

I see tons of co2; it just wouldn't be up to code. Plants are great, I have been reading the other journal and I’m almost scared to view the thread, Matt has all the balls. I’ll just tell them I was learning the methods and planed on growing legal edibles.

my 2 new comers to the party...Purple Haze and Pineapple express have both sprouted a tap root. just waiting on them to work thier way up out of the rapid rooter and they will go into a 1 gal grow bag to start thier adventure. the BBG top i took and am trying to clone isnt dead yet...lets hope it makes it so i can keep them genetics around. though i have heard tops are a bit tougher to clone so will see how these rapid rooter plugs and my current cloning methods pans out...
