Subbing up because my second grow will probably go scrog since I'm limited on space. Really like the look of it, one of the cleaner/nicer ones I've seen man!

Can't wait to see those buds fill out!!

Days into flower.... hmmm.... not sure? LOL I think it's at somewhere around 3-4 weeks? The strain is "The Purps" from BC Bud Depot!

Mine hasn't been so bad, very, very, very strong smelling buds however! Some of the stinkiest I've ever had the pleasure of smoking! :D

My a51 light arrived the other day and the plants seem to love it. On nice warm sunny days I take them outside, but on cloudy ones like today, they stay under the light. Finally able to run them at an 18-6 cycle. It's only been a couple of days, but they are growing like crazy, so much faster than the older ones that relied on the sun when it was nearly always overcast. Anyway, I've got my light about 36" above the plants near a window so they get plenty of fresh air and a little ambient sunshine. I believe I read that 36" is right for veg and 24" for flower. Yeah?

I've noticed a big difference between the A51-135 and other led lights on youtube. The light from those seem to be almost completely pink (red) while this one is 90% white with just a few red bulbs. What's the deal? Forgive me, I'm not smart enough or knowledgable enough to understand all the numbers and highly technical answers I get when I search the forums.

Thanks for the recommendation. If I hadn't lost my debit card, I would have already purchased a timer so I wouldn't have to set my alarm to wake me up to turn the lights on or off, lol.

The new school LED thoughts go something like this;

Plants can get enough blue light from white diodes. It's red light that give a boost in flower, and by using them in conjunction with white LED's you get a really nice, full spectrum with the peaks in the right spots.

Got some Hash Tops going on! At least two that I can see right now, it's pretty sweet :D The ladies are looking fantastic, lots of bud sites, and very, very dense already.

I just got to add one thing to the hash tipping conversation. In Enuro/Green Santas' "Hash Tip" thread I made the crack that the difference between bleaching and hash tipping was when you did it during a grow. Well I bleached more tops recently, but this time I did it late, not on purpose mind you, I just didn't move or rotate the plant because of it's position in the tent. Anyway this time it was definitely different. It was more of a compact trichome clusterfuck, but the real difference was that you could see the green under it, which to me is hash tipping. The first bud was white where the bleaching was going on, but the calyx on the later ones was green. That tip is now curing and I'm gonna "give" it to my "friend" like I did to the bleached one, which I told him to look for when I gave it to him. And his review of that bud was this, "Yeah I found that bud. The taste was, (looooooooooooooong pause) different, but man, I haven't been that stoned in a while." So I'm hoping to give him that late bleached bud next time I see him and if I get a "tasted amazing", I'm gonna be more in the hash tipping is real camp. And the price raising camp too ;). LOL

Beef you still have that USB microscope? Some bleaching /hash tipping close ups perhaps? Oh and those beautiful plants of yours sure seem dense. Is that what you're feeding them or is it that just the light beating down on them? Probably both, eh?

Sorry friend you are mistaken. ive had hash tips before. Only on my master kush. Chunk of crystals at the top of the bud. Occurs with heavy amount of 660 and IR.

Whoa, the ladies are starting to fall over already.... LOL It's like week 4 or some shit, and they already can't support the buds..... this could get messy.... :D It's gonna end up looking like a 'cat's cradle' in there by the time I get all the branches tied up....
