I just had one quadruple on me! I'd never seen THAT before (with an Indica). So you just deal with it and continue on. Then the next time you grow the strain (so clone these) you'll know what to do and dial it in.
True dat.....I have one now that was 20" tall before flower. Now 5.5 weeks into flower its 6' 2" tall i shit you not.......Strain matters a lot, as well as lighting, nutrients, then, substrate and environment all. They will get as big as they get and you get to deal with it is the usual rules

I wouldn't doubt if someone has found a secret mix that forces growth spikes without penalties elsewhere.. would by no means rule that out.
Nope. Its a White Widow. Have three. All were 18-20" before flower. 2 are now about 4.5 feet tall and the other is over 6 feet, in DWC. And that is 6 feet not including the tub it sits on. Im using Heavy 16 Bloom nutes for flower with H202 and a splash of Cal/Mg. Apparently works great. Will get you some pics. But to the Op. Id flip when they get 10-12" tall since you have 3' grow space....
