NorCal 4/20 BBQ!

Anyone up for a BBQ? Sat 4/20? .....Camp Far West lake just N of Sacramento.
Just a chance to get together & grill something & talk growing. Swap stories & recipes
Camp Far West is a private lake & campground. There is a small fee for entry/parking.
Restroom facilities & running water. Tables & grills at each camp space. They have some full hook-up spaces available for RV's.

I'll get there early & try to get the best BBQ spots, on the backside away from the boatramp & crowds. I can't remember what spaces these were, but they were perfect. Furthest away from the boat ramp.
I have a bunch of paper plates, & forks & spoons & cups from the last BBQ. Just bring something to grill or share with others.

Hey djj. Tryn to figure some logistics here. Questions about how far north of sac are we talking. Mapquest puts sac 8hours away. Don't really like driving more than 6, but may drive to bring 1 of the dogs and some goodies! Also is there an airport closer to the place than sac? Or any1 else who may know. Thanks.

I think its about an hour from sac. Unless you got a private airplane you can't fly in anywhere closer.

You need to talk to TWS, he made the run last time. It's about 40mil n of Sac. Do you have camping gear? It's a campground.
If we're lucky some of the locals will be out playing on the lake. Camp Far West, is a big drag boat lake, it can get wild!
Just show up!

Nice, I haven't seen drag boats since I was a kid lol. My dad was huge into boats we had a 69 flat bottom V-drive with a sanger hull. It never lost and his buddies had pickleforks and shit ha. I'll definitely make this one though I probably wont camp I'll end up going to davis and staying with my girl. She doesn't like the smoke lol so I cant bring her >,<
