LOL the wife is fine with it. I am just within my 90 day probation period which means no time off requests and no benefits. I am only 2 weeks in and still in training so it's going to be tough to get the day off if they have me scheduled. It's a 365 call center so we work on weekends as well.

You need to talk to TWS, he made the run last time. It's about 40mil n of Sac. Do you have camping gear? It's a campground.
If we're lucky some of the locals will be out playing on the lake. Camp Far West, is a big drag boat lake, it can get wild!

Yeah I have all my camping gear minus my tent. Lost it to field mice last fall. But figured on sleeping in back my suv. Its pretty big, use it like a bed @ the dive inn movies all the time. Did that drive up the 5 from ventura to san fran once. Remember going past tons of wind farms and cattle farms. The only place I smelt that was worse was righ outside amarillo tx the have a cattle slaughter place that would that the one in cali to shame! Prob end up just riding solo, but will figure that out in time. Is their a party group to make the reservation under or do I just make it under my name 4 myself?

Don't really need reservations. It's the summer weekends that get crowded. There won't be any problem on 4/20.
But you can make res if you wish. I don't think they reserve specific spots except the full hook-ups.
I'll go back & read the last bbq thread & try to find the camping space numbers we used. They were on the back side of the hill from the boat ramp, it's quieter over there. Good luck see you there.

would like to meet as many of you as I can, and maybe can tlk my dad into bringing out the turbo jet skis and as for reservations Im pretty sure u just pay and then located our chosen camp site. so is there also a salmon fishing thread floating around here too?

I went thru a few pages from the last BBQ and really jealous I didn't attend. pretty sure I had to work that day but would love to see some contests! such as fishing or other judgables catagories..... so many ppl had said they were goin to attend but how many actually showed up? cant wait for the winds and light rains to disappear and get everything rolling up! stay lifted! _Tycoon

I found it, spots #16 & #18.

Yeah, there were a lot of no shows last time, but there was still enough of us to make it a fun time. Even with that, we had so much food. It was fun to put names to faces. We don't need a head count this time, just show up.

lol duely noted... but on a different note. medijuana.. that would be one of ur strains isn't it? did it happen to have purple strain crossed in it or does it, like all weed, turn purple in cold weather (but wasn't all that cold before harvest).. curiousity kills the cat.

I no longer have the Medijuana, the mother died!
It was the earliest finishing strain I've ever seen outdoors. And frostiest too!
