tiny white jumping bugs

hi today i have just noticed these tiny white quick moving jumping bugs no bigger than a millimetre in size
on my pot tray when i moved my plant not seen them before.
checked my plants leaves n stems,moved top soil and no sign of them
any ideas what i should do
all comments welcome thank you

I have an issue with this one.. Parathion may be simple to use, effective, and organic.. but it's by no means safe for most to use unless they've handled pesticides before and know how to use it in moderation, and properly - at that, am not so sure it's a good idea to introduce it into a plant that's smokable. I'd use this as an example as what not to do unless you're within 5 minutes of a hospital due to how it's absorbed, breaks down to paraoxon after it's readily absorbed into mucous membranes, orally, or absorbed in the skin. There's also a hell of a reason that it's -BANNED FOR USE- on many food crops.

As for treating for exposure.. artificial respiration and atropine are a must to keep the casualty % lower than it otherwise would be - this also assumes that it's caught swiftly. I won't even touch on how it's also been used as a chemical weapon in the past, and how quite a few countries have completely banned the use of it.

Summary: Use it at your own risk, if you or a loved one ends up dead - don't say you didn't get warning.

they're only spring tails and harmless to your girls,
they only eat daying matter, they will only be visible when watering.

i would not use Parathion on anything personaly, or any other organophosphate.
from wikipedia -->
"Parathion, also called parathion-ethyl or diethyl parathion, is an organophosphate compound. It is a potent insecticide and acaricide. It was originally developed by IG Farben in the 1940s. It is highly toxic to non-target organisms, including humans. Its use is banned or restricted in many countries, and there are proposals to ban it from all use."

i use pyrethin on insects that get past the neem oil, sticky cards, and bt(mosquito dunks, ewc tea...) that i use all the time insects or no. evergreen is the best one i have found so far but theres tonns of other ones and they probably work just fine. some hydro shops will rebottle 1 oz "samples" of evergreen for @$10. for a small grow 1 oz is like a 2 year supply.

Nematodes and oils can be supposedly be used to kill them, results vary a lot, unless the plants are really young (they 'can' target young plants) I'd do nothing about it.

That said, stop drowning your plants and dont let the top layer dry out.

If u let those springtails go on to long ,they will harm ur roots. i know, i just delt with springtails this last fall. I would get some gonats and soil drench three times. 5ml per liter of water. if that dosnt do it, try 10-12 ml per liter. eventualy it will get rid of them. they will choke ur roots off if u donot get rid of them. thats how they are harmful. thjey will multiply to outragess numbers and choke ur roots.
