So I have a closet that I wan't to change into growing room. I made plan of it in paint. It's only a plan for now beacuse I need some improvements.

I hope you see and understand this picture.

I will probably grow autoflower strain AutoXtreme.
I will have 3 CFL bulbs but I don't know how many W shoult they have. For air circulation I will be using computer fans and computers power suply, for vents to work.
But I don't know how to get rid of all the smell that will come from closet. I can't have air filters. So if there is something else that catches all the smell please tell me.
And there won't be any intake or exhaust of air...I will just open doors of closet every once in a while.

Your going to want a lot more than 3 cfls to get some decent growth. Make sure you add side lighting, otherwise the plant might stretch too much and you will end up with a lanky plant with airy buds. You should really consider figuring out a way to exhaust the heat/smell of the room. It may create heat/humidity problems for you.

So it should look something like this:

added 2 lights on each side.

I don't know how else can I exhaust heat. As I said I can open doors.
Even If I put filter there I need exhaust fan...and I don't really have big amount of money.

to circulate air....I think I would need a bigger fan for exhaust+filter

btw can I make my own filter and use computer fan as an exhaust fan?

Why can't you have air filters??

hats the size of the space?
yes I have space problems

you can go to walmart and get a cheap desk fan for circulation. An ocilating one would be even better.

A computer fan may help with heat load

Thank you I will see what I can do with this

Thank you for this too.

Can you take a picture of the actual closet. Maybe one of use can see/explain things a little differently than you can. You really need to have an exhaust, recycling stale air isn't good for your plant and the heat will build up.

What if I put 250W HPS instead of 3 CFL's on top of the plant+2 cfl bulbs on each side?
How manny watts should side clf have?

As much lighting as possible = greatest potential yield. I would use a minimum of 23 watt cfl's. Hps will give off a decent amount of heat and if your not cycling air you are almost definitely going to run into heat problems. You can't get any straight answers unless we know the dimensions and what your closet looks like.

Ok I will post photo in friday.

I have a question about strain selection.
Which one should I use? I want high yield and a good smoke...or just big yield :)
Strains:
-Jack Herer
-Kalashnikova
-Ultra Skunk
-Dutch Cheese

I would pick the strain based on how much room you have in your closet. If you are short on space I would go with a plant that is mostly indica. If height is not a factor than it doesn't matter if you go with indica or sativa. I would do some research and read reviews before making your selection. If this is your first grow i would recommend going with an indica based plant first because sativas can get out of control. Something like Northern Lights is a good starter or Aurora Indica from Nirvana Seeds, they have customer reviews on each strain. Many people recommend Attitude seed bank since they offer every brand under the sun. And Sannies seeds as well. A few people on this board grew Sannies Sugar Punch and it's supposed to be really good. You will get every one telling you to grow their favorite strains, just do your research and try to figure out whats best for you.
