Anyone renew or get there card since they passed this 2 year renewal law? I'm interested to know if the cost changed at all. Hopefully they will begin to lower it like in other places.

I didn't send anything in to the state yet because I thought we didn't have to now. But now I am hearing that everyone has still been renewing?

One major question...I thought the 2 year cards weren't being handed out till after april 14th! Is this not true?

Belle recertified a few days ago at the main place in southfield. She has had all her cards from them since it's been legal. I don't think it's for 2 years. I'm having her call now.
She expires before April 14th so she had to pull the trigger, cuz she wasn't about to lapse for even a week in this fucking county. lmao.

Phone numbers to all 3 locations haven't been working for the last 20 minutes. Maybe some friendly competition had them shut down for petty shit. lmao.
I sent them an email asking them if they got raided or not. I'll try again later. Maybe they are so busy answering questions that their phone lines are jammed up
all day. lol.
The michigan medical marijuana certification center just emailed me back.
Our phone lines just went down, not sure why we are working on the problem. As per the new State laws passed starting April 1, 2013 cards will be good for 2 years. They still have not updated anything on the State website yet but all the new laws are to go into effect on April 1, 2013. Sorry for the inconvenience with our phones we are working on them but if you should have any other questions please let us know.

ive seen new cards with 2 year expirations ..and old or current cards expire whatever date that is on them.

Here are two new emails from them.
That is on the State side not our side. When did your card expire? They are only honoring the new law after April 1st so if your card expired before April 1st unfortunately you will have to renew after 1 year then you should be put on the 2 year renewal after that. Our phones are back up so if you would like to call to discuss please contact us at248-932-6400.

So really I didn't even have to re-register. And am already on the LARA registry..so I guess I don't really have much of a choice..and wasted 70$ LoL.

So if your card expires after April 1st are you actually going to be good for an additional year? or we still renew and then it's 2 years from then on out? I'm so confused. I hope they just send out new cards with a 2014 expiration date.
