Height of my closet is 1,70m and yeah it will be my first grow. I think I'll buy Northern Light Autoflower. Does it get wide or it just grow up?

I personally would stay away from autos. You have no control over how they grow in terms of vegging and blooming. They just automatically do it on their own and that usually leads to smaller plants with smaller yields and the potency of autos are lower than a photoperiod grow. I would get feminized seeds and let the plant grow out. You will have more time to fix mistakes in the veg phase. With an auto flower you are pretty much fucked if you mess up since the plant is more or less on an auto timer. Northern lights is a nice short plant that is very forgiving and is highly recommended for a first time grow. You can keep LST the plant to keep it shorter and wider. Are you doing soil or hydro?

I'm doing soil and I'm only home for weekends(friday,Saturday,Sunday). So I wanted autoflower....my brother doesn't know much about this and I can't explain all that.

I can oly get Nothern lights in autoflower....any other strains that are easier to grow?

Your not going to be able to grow a plant if your only home weekends. Your going to have to water it about twice a week (depending on size of pot) and your going to have to adjust lights almost daily (especially for an auto). I don't think it's worth it unless you have someone watching it for you.

HPS is only flower, Metal Halide is for veg or just use cfl 6500k/T5 type lighting for veg. What I would do is cut a hole on the bottom of the large part of the cabinet for a passive intake. A 4" hole should be sufficient. You can go with a few of these on the sides, you can get them at any electrical supply. You can also suspend that light setup from above for over head lighting. Then what I would do is get yourself a carbon filter/fan setup I have this one I would suspend the carbon filter up top run some 4 inch ducting into the shelf area next to where the filter is hanging (so basically the second compartment down from the top). Then cut a 4" hole out the side of the cabinet next to where the fan is sitting so it can exhaust the air out using negative pressure. Now you will have a full exhaust setup and it won't smell at all. Use the remaining shelves for storage of equipment. Does that help?

It has helped me thanks....What if you make carbon filter at home is it 100% without smell? Should I use some vents for air circulation?

and another one :) ....Can I use scrog in my closet or it is to small?

I was going to make my own carbon filter but after I realized I would still have to shell out the money for a decent 4" inline fan, it would have come out to about $100 and thats why I just decided to buy the store bought version. Plus when you buy it from the store there is more of a chance of it actually working because the filter is paired with a fan that will get the job done and i can honestly say this fan/filter setup I bought legitimately works well. I have it sucking the air out of my tent and the exhausted air does have a faint weed smell mixed in but I just put some ONA around the room and problem solved. As far as scrog I believe you could make it work but if your growing with cfls your going to really position your lights well to get some good buds. I don't think heat will be an issue for you with cfls as long as you correctly setup the exhaust and add a fan or 2 for circulation. I think what would be even better is if you removed everything on the inside , all the shelves and divider and made it 1 giant grow closet. Then you could add a hps setup in there and you could probably fit a good 4 plants in there with good success.

I will only use cfl's for veg....for flowering I will have 250W HPS...Is the scrog good for beginners or should I wait to grow 1 normal and then scrog?
What is with nutrients? Do I really need them?

I haven't used the scrog method, I don't know much about it but if your only doing 1 or 2 plants I don't know if it's worth it. As far as nutes go, everyone has their own opinion on which is best. I am currently using general hydroponics 3 part. I guess it does the job. I hear great things about fox farm, botanicare, advanced, dyna-gro. There are so many to choose from, just do a search and see what would best fit you and your price range, some of these setups can get reeeeally expensive. but to answer the question, yes you will need nutrients to see some decent bud growth. you could go organic and no nutes but nutes really help out quite a bit and when you start 12/12 you will want bloom boosters like advanced nutrients big bud, which is what I use along with their B-52. Check this site out it may be of some help to you, it was a huge help to me plus there is a great FAQ section on there.
