so after 5 days in jars i think that most of the stems snap ( stay semi together ) . so now I think i can really let the cure begin.
On a side note. I made dry ice hash with a 220 bag , and think I got keif balls ( wet ones ) lol and still not dried yet but are getting harder.
would baking on a low temp ( 110 ) for a few miutes then rolling in celphane or something bring a more dark color that HASH should look like
mine is light green right now
next grow YES, although wonder if 600 is better but even if not i ll get 4 or 5 gallon ( not 2 gallon ) pots and grow bigger , topped higher yielding babies
FWIW, IME, a 2gal pot is good for +4oz dry. A 4gal pot can produce +10oz dry, given additional veg time and training. Looking at your plants, if this were me, I'd increase the light intensity as much as possible and introduce a little training and pruning, as to minimize the less-developed flowers. Good luck.Exactly!!!- All the reading for upgrading yeild has to do with obviously more light more in my case more importantly BIGGER pots. no morem2 gallon next time , a jump to a 5 gallon should grow bigger girls thus more medicine. ALo given that my tent height with light is about 45+- "
Lyka looks good, what kind of nutes were you using?

Ya for sure I shook to hard and too long. its been almost 2 weeks and still it crumbles when I squezze it forcefullyIMO for what its worth...
You got a little aggressive on the agitation or shook the bag too long.
Thats some mighty green hash you got due to all the plant matter that got through the screen. I did make some with a 220 once but only shook it for about 15 shakes and then collected my first batch.
I noticed the second run get a little tint of green and the 3rd run looked just like what you got there. dont think baking it will do much since the plant matter is there and it wont bake away unless its in a bowl.
I got a few batches curing in jars you can take a look at if ya want. Its super easy to tell what ball was from what run by the color.
Lemme know if you want pic's and i'll post em in here if you want.
I would just keep curing it and make sure it drys nice and slow as its gonna be harsh as hell if ya dont. It might be harsh anyway due to all the green matter in it but why help it along with a fast dry.
Anyway that's an awesome grow man and the hash was just a bonus so it was not a waste.
So your saying given my current set up ( i assume you looked ) or at least could tell from my pics my tent is w/ light installed only 45' +- to grow. Now I def. intend to top them next go and perhaps even POP a few, but not going to a bigger gal size ie:3,4,5 , is that really not the issue ?FWIW, IME, a 2gal pot is good for +4oz dry. If I understand your question, the size of the pot is not your limiting factor. As for the rest, I looked at your plants - post #22. It's fine for first grow, but you can do better by streamlining the way the plants are presented to the light, which will minimize the less-developed flowers, and by increasing the light intensity to the same effect. This may not mean using a bigger light, but bringing the light closer to the plants, assuming your ventilation is up to par.So your saying given my current set up ( i assume you looked ) or at least could tell from my pics my tent is w/ light installed only 45' +- to grow. PS:
Thanks
You'll want a 6" fan with a 600. Personally, I prefer Vortex, but there are other fine centrifugal fans.
Other than genetics, we're dealing with two main constraints: light and space. I wouldn't suggest topping, as it will lengthen your veg time, but I would suggest LST. If you look through my Free Seed thread (link'd in my sig), you'll find two LST tutorials with pics. Keep this in mind: trying for as many tops as possible only works in a very small garden, like a SCROG'd kitchen cabinet. You want as many main stems as can fit into a given space, relative to the overall size of the plant. IME, a 600HPS and a plant occupying ~1-1.5ft2 of canopy space is good for 5-6 main stems. If you grow, say, four plants, you're looking at ~20-24 main stems. The garden, in turn, becomes a SOG of sorts, but with several advantages. Then, if you prune those 20-24 main stems of their secondary growth right before flowering, you'll end-up with big colas and little to no waste. Kinda like this:
As you can see, the plants are relatively short and still produce quite a bit, given the right genetics. FWIW, I like to keep my 600s ~10" above the canopy. HTH
