Have a Laughing Buddha nearly ready to come down. Took off a lower nug for a quick dry and it's a nice smoke so far. Kind of a sour, fruity smell and taste.
Got the fan and filter yesterday. Have it up and running at the moment but still trying to decide where to fix it

12 weeks last Thursday. Say I'll take her down during the week. Don't know what the story was with her but she always had only a small amount of leaves, trimming should be fairly simple for a change.

Yeeee got a shackzilla that popped it's head above ground on paddys day, doing it in dwc, the root growth is crazy for a 2 weeks old plant, some of the roots are 18 inches long already lol, She's flying, going to break some personal records with this big sativa if I can keep her low enough with the scrog.

Been thinking of switching to DWC or some other hydro technique. I'd stay with coco but the work involved is getting pretty hairy. It's pretty much an hour and a half or two hours every evening now between watering and mixing nutes. Dont really mind most of the time but some evenings I'm just plain lazy and the fact I fucked up my shoulder during the week isn't making things any easier.

What about Hempy buckets...? I'm looking in to it as its suppose to be fairly easy to do with low maintence.

Honestly I have tried every method of growing except aeroponics and DWC in a single bucket is the lowest maintenance growing method, no more than 5 mins a day to check ec/ph and adjust. And I empty res every 3/4 days which takes about 20 mins to do total. With soil or coco it's easily an hour a day to mix nutes/ph and then get them watered and runoff cleaned up. A wetvac has saved me so much time since I got it, best investment a grower can make if you want to save time.

In hempy I ended up watering everyday once the bucket filled with roots, which only takes a few weeks in coco anyway.

Whats the story if power goes out. How long do they have before there is damage caused. I read somewhere they only had 6 hours in most hydro setups.

If power goes you dont want to be leaving the plants roots in stagnant water or they will get droopy within an hour, within a day they will probably be in a bad shape. I'd say probably 3 days or so until they are goners. Thankfully the power round this area has never gone unexpectedly.

Was thinking about the whole power thing. A 12V inverter and a car battery would power an air pump for a good bit. Probably get a day or more and wouldn't break the bank.
