Hello,
So I decided to start the flowering process last night. After the first night of 12 hours darkness I turned on the lights and noticed that all the leaves were drooping.
This hasn't happend before throughout the entire grow. Is this common? I didn't water it before putting it into darknedd last night, but watered it when I truned on the lights this morning.
Here are 3 photos, let me know if more information is needed to figure this out.
Also the close up shot of the leef is there because it shows some discoloration, anyone know why that might be?

Thank you all for any help you can offer.

Color looks a bit starved for light? Could be the strain, I suppose. Drooping could've been from thirst. Did it pick up after you watered it this a.m. ?

it hasn't picked up yet at all and its been 3 1/3 hours.
As far as the light, i have 4 - 42 watt CFL's (150wattequiv) just above the plant and light hasn't been a issue at all before.

the total age of the plant is like a month old. somewhere right around 4 weeks.

looks like a combination of nute deficiency because the leaves are reallly pale. were they darker before? I would assume so.

also the drooping leaves is probably either over watering or under watering. the only real test to find out which it is is to not water for a bit or keep watering and see if they perk up or droop more. if they droop more when you water again then its overwatered. if they perk up then it was underwatered.

looks a bit pale, maybe give it some more nutes......
Thanks, I just mixed up a diluted batch of nutes and fed it to her again.
hopefully the extra watering doesn't hurt it, i just will skip watering tomorrow.

But when you said that I realize she hasn't had nutrients added to the soil in 2 weeks I only watered with the miracle grow like 2 or 3 times max since she has been growing.

Thanks for the help, we'll see if it works, any idea how long i would be waiting for her to look healthy again, if this is the problem?

that will absolutely help....... I think your supposed to water with nutes every other time with soil, but I'm not sure.....I'm a hydro guy.

the best way to check watering is to buy a moisture probe ($7 at most hardware stores. i got mine at Fred Meyer's if you have one) everyday probe the soil and see what it says. if it says its dry give it a little water. if its still wet then you know you dont need to water.

marijuana plants usually show improvement fairly quickly granted you're solving the right problem. so you'll notice within a day or two if the leaves get more perky ect.

Day 2 of flowering was a success, there was no additional drooping since feeding the nutes almost 24 hours ago. The leaves are still discolored but I figure that will take quite some time to fix.

I have done some reading on 12/12 from seed so I decided to chuck a couple of 2 inch seedlings in there to see what they produce, I would be suprised to get a dime bag out of each, but it's worth the experiment just so I know what I can expect from this strain in the future if I try it again.

Day 3:
I gave the plants a 2nd str8 feeding of the nutes today.
I will not water them tomorrow, then i will water with plain bottles water the next watering.
Hopefully in 2-3 more days I will be able to determine sex.

It's been about 10 days or so since I started flowering.

Thanks again for the help so far, as you can see my plant recovered nicely from the previous problems.

Can sex be determined from the picture? I think it might still be a little early, what do you guys think?
