Well this is sure to start a discussion lol. I really cant help as the one I use are only available locally from highgrow. They are real cheap at $20 per gallon of a and b, so pretty much enough for me for a couple of season which is 5-6 trays and they do work very well, as good as the Sensi PH Perfect IMO(way more pricey), except for the PH thing, which I adjust anyways out of habit :(. I just used overdrive on some white russian that was lagging behind and it did seem to kick start the stuff but without doing a side by side comparison who knows lol.

Like in this picture? I had the same problem throughout flowering with my last grow. My light was really close and heat stressed the plants a bit. Stopped when i moved my light away to 8 inches(400w)

Haters can hate shaggy dog, Advanced works awesome in hydro. I have run their "hobbyist" line up with Sensi before they grouped there additives up into levels.
Sensi A/B Grow, B52, Vodoo Juice through veg. Through Flower I run (Voodoo first two weeks) along with Big Bud, OverDrive and B52. I start B52 after week two and I only use Overdrive for the last two weeks and drop Big Bud. I also Use Bud Candy pretty much all the way through. In hydro you can run everything at half to 3/4 strength and I would not recommend much stronger than that. You don't have to worry about pH. Easy as pie. Now make sure you have a proper environment to go along with it.

Hi, I have a 6-gal reservoir with 3 plants set-up in rockwool/hydroton/netpots. I been using Stealth Hyrdo's Grow Micro for Veg and instead of continuing with the same flower nutes, I was thinking of switching to FoxFarm Trio (Flower/Bloom) or AdanceNuturient line (flower/Bloom). Anyone have suggestions? Also i'd be grateful if anyone can share their experiences with additives such as (Molasses, BigBud, Bloombastic and etc) or point me in the direction of some threads explaining about it.

On a budget but I would like to do the most I can to make sure they are growing healthy and stronger. Also boost potency and yield.

I am only on my 5th tray of doing hydro so I know shit but I think your PH might be a tad low for 6th week of flower. Also depending on the conversion factor of meter you may be a bit high on the PPM, I think the norm is around 5.8-6.2 and ec around the 1200-1600. I am on 8th week and leaves are turning yellow but I thought that was normal process, correct me if I'm wrong. I thought it might also be a deficeincy but have not added anything and buds are putting on weight.

If someone ask me my favorite...AN for sure...right now! I will use anything that comes along and beats AN but the results so far are wonderfull.

Realisticly though all will do a decent job, personally I tell people that liquid nutrients are better for hydro, for obvious reasons, tell them about my experiences, and let them make their own choices.

What about additives? Do you guys use anything else besides the basic micro and grow/flower. I have been reading many people say bloombastic is great for flowering in addition to the base micro and bloom nutes. What do you guys think? Is it worth the investment?

I use overdrive and buds do get big lol. But not sure if they are bigger because of it or i did something right for a change. I dont typically do the same strain twice in a row so its hard to compare things. I think the overdrive keeps the plant going a bit longer possibly.

Yeh, i use bud candy, bigbud, overdrive, senzine. so far great results. But if i cant afford an sometime then my next choice is Cyco nutes, there hole line.

There again personally I have a base line number I use when testing additives. The baseline was from the standard 3 part without anything else over a 12 mnth period, then averaged out.

Overdrive has increased my yeild but cost outways the gain, big bud and blood blood both work also and I alternate using them.

Additives can be usefull but I believe if you want bigger yeilds then learn to veg longer and get that root ball huge.
