First grow attempt, need some advice

Heres my setup:

Two small little plants I have sprouted from bagseeds. The bigger of the two has lost one of its round leaves (turned yellow, fell off) and has two good size razor leaves, and now two smaller razor leaves emerging. The smaller of the two plants has just recently sprouted and has two great looking round leaves and two great looking razor leaves.
Both of the plants are small... Like they've only been growing for a two weeks or so. Each is roughly like an inch out of the soil. Both of them are in little cups and I water them nicely about twice a day.
In the morning, around 9am, I place the plants outside on the roof. They get a great amount of sun all day until about 7pm when I take them back in. When i bring them inside, their soil is dry, so I water them again and then place them about 2 inches under a 100watt (I think) compact fluorescent light inside a cardboard box coated with tinfoil. I keep them under that light until about 10pm, then I turn the light off, and keep them in the dark till the next morning.
So far, I feel like I am getting good results... BUT, I am wondering if they should maybe be growing faster than they are...
I am going to post pictures soon but for now, let me know what you guys think.
Any advice? Am I doing anything wrong? How much longer till I can get these babies in a bigger pot and really watch them grow?

Thanks guys!

We need pics to tell but it sounds like you are over watering them.

TWICE a day?

The soil should be allowed to dry out some before you water again.

Let the soil dry out or you will lose your seedlings.

if you want to grow right get a moisture tester (like $5 pretty much anywhere that sells garden supplies) it will tell you how wet the soil is down the entire pot. if its dry then you know to water. if its still somewhat wet then you know you can wait longer.

other than that i wouldnt turn the light off at 10pm. not sure what type of light it is but you should just leave them on a 24 hour light cycle. some do 18/6 but i prefer/think 24/0 is better!1
