Pit Bull Saves Family During Home Invasion

I grew up with a pit that played with truck tires for chew toys. He too saved our family from home invasion. One of my fathers 'rivals' was soliciting people to break into our home, all of them were afraid of our dog. One guy came to my father and told him everything, said no one wanted to fuck with our dog and then my father.

I put my dogs on a spring pole and they can swing on it until they get tired ...

I've learned a tired pit is a happy pit

I'm gonna have to use a bike tire next, as the rope I put up is almost chewed through lol

My friends who own Pitts will steal those orange road cones any chance they get!

Well today I need to vent! I have a mailman with a severe anxiety of dogs. I can say honestly that I have shyed from rescuing pitts because I deal with enough crazies afraid of my Golden and Border Collie mutt getting all riled up because of their ignorant unfounded prejudice! And I also do not understand how a person with an unhealthy if not disabling fear of dogs can be qualified to be a mail carrier!? My Booey, the black one, pranced up to the edge of our yard to greet him and the MoFo had his mace out so quick my heart is still racing! My Luna when she was still with me was once put on the warning to be kept from the front fence by a mail carrier but my Luna was very scary and protetive - this is now the 2nd time he flipped and instead of remembering how badly he overreacted before he chooses to hysterically stay that this is now the 2nd time or violation! So wtf?! Does this mean my Boo cannot be in the yard with me?

In upstate NY (rural) the PO sent me a letter telling me my dog had to be in the house from 9 to 5 and my front door must be shut OR they will not deliver to that whole side of town.ROFLMAO but they were serious.
The asshole mased my 4 month old rott when she pranced up to him.

OH the poor dear! My Luna got maced as a puppy by an elderly lady on the beach and it still pains me thinking of her putting sand in her eyes! I'm from Northern NY, we don't even have a store that sells leashes so I feel you! I was just thinking when I wrote that how growing up the mail people drove around and just stuck their arms out, sometimes on the wrong side of the road lmao so the entire side of the town!? The Hysteria! Shouldn't their fears be founded? Some sort of hearing or something? If I were afraid of pizza which sounds insane but imo pre judging my Boo as anything scary is just as insane as a person fearing pizzas or, how about this... a pizza delivery person afraid of boys under the age of 12 getting hysterical everytime the door was answered by a boy under 12 and threatening to not deliver anymore? His boss would not take 2 seconds to fire his crazy needy pussy ass! :wall:

around here there is no door to door mail.Every neighborhood has a set of boxes.It seems just so stupid to have door to door mail.It saves a ton of head aches.

Ya I know the "owners fault" argument and I've seen some people with pits and rotts that shouldn't even be allowed to drive let alone own a powerful dog, but I've seen and heard of case after case of pits living with good families with no history of abuse injure of kill family members or other innocents, most of the time the victims are children.

Let's keep the pits and other breeds known for bad things, under one condition. Background checks required. If you are a known low-life loser, abuser or fuckup, no tough puppy for you. Unfortunately, for pit lovers, bans are sweeping the world and have started here in the states. The number of cities and townships with pitbull bans are too many to even copy and paste here, and the number is growing.

Nice to hear good pit stories but most have already made up their minds about the breed.
