Looking good. Good journal. I read it all over again. But I couldn't see if you took your clones straight from rooted to 12/12 or did you veg them a bit? Also how many do you have under that 600? I have (2) xxxl magnums just ready to fire up but waiting on my (3) Pineapple Express moms in dwc to produce some more cuttings.
I did veg them for about 5 days. I read somewhere that if the roots didn't hit the rez that there was a major loss in yield. I wanted to make sure this didn't happen. To tell the truth I think a few from the second batch (2 weeks later) didn't quite hit the rez. I will find out at harvest to see if they needed a couple more days or not. Only way around this is to have an aero cloner and let the roots grow long, so at transplant the roots are already in the rez. Will be another project in the works!! Also plan on ordering a 6" blockbuster hood, as i've read it is considered one of the best hoods out there, right along side your xxxl magnums :) Peace!!

I almost got the Blockbuster..... It was just a little to big thou, so I got the yeild master
I'm stuck between the 6" xxxl or the 6" blockbuster. I'm in a 4x4 tent so i'm looking for the best one to provide close (8") equal coverage of that footprint. From my research I will probably start with the blockbuster as i've read the xxxl is huge and weighs quite a bit. I've reinforced my tent so i'm not to worried about the weight, although it and being a rather large shade will weigh on my final decision. We will see. Peace!!

Just a couple shots and nothing really to update except that the ripening stage is going very well. Enjoy!!

If you were close ECMo, I'd make a day of sharing my hardwork with you :)

I've tried a few early samples. CL1-V is the sleeper. The result of the injuries from my accident cause me major problems getting a full nights rest. A little CL1-V and i'm right as rain in the morn :) CL1-B is trippy, right to the head and lasts to my surprise around 3-4 hrs. Doesn't make you sleepy and ends in a clear head, and the munchies don't kick in till near the end. I will post my findings on the others CL1-A/T/U/Y, asap. I will be doing another round in about 2 weeks with the intention of focusing on each pheno more indepth. A couple pix just cuz.. Peace!!

IMG_1770.jpgIMG_1771.jpg
First pic has CL1-B/A (Left n right sides of tent) ready to come down shortly. The middle is the heavy yielder CL1-T and the rows on either side of center are approx 3 weeks behind everything else. Second pic is my very frosty CL1-U, Only had 5 of her in there this round. Not a heavy yielder but covered in crystal and very dense. I will provide close-up n macro shots of cured meds when they are ready. Again thx for stopping by, Enjoy!!!

Forgot to add a couple shots of the new seedlings. These will be a part of the upcoming ODG2013 :)

If interested for a sneak peek at my ODGs, Google ShaggnCana. Was on a different forum at that time but security became an issue and RiU became my new home. Plan to put on quite a show, for those interested... Peace!!!

Looking sweet Shagg. Do you notice much difference in yield between the ones that show single cola dominance and the ones that branch like the 2 in your post #83. Both look sweet and comparable in bud quantity, looks like the single cola might be a bit more.

Anyways great work looking forward to the ODG.

Thanks Stone. As to yield difference, i'm not sure yet. I will make a point to weigh those 2 on their own and see what the results are. I've seen some peeps swear that main-lining to 4 tops creates more yield. This is the interweb so i'd have to do it personally to know what is and what isn't real. Peace!!

Picturing 4 tops coming out of 1 of those 2 liter hempys sounds crazy to me lol, you would have to start watering every day to stop them from falling over when they got dry lol...

Tru that!! Some of mine do that already. Would have to have a better support system than my current, lean on thy neighbor lol. Peace!!

Update time!!

K, so I already took down CL1/A - B - U - Y. Still have five CL1/T still going (guessing she is a 10 weeker). Five of another strain called CT/2 is heavily Sat (12+ weeks) prolly another 4 weeks. One CL1/V (should be done this week). I also have 14 random unmarked clones that went in approx 2-3 weeks behind the first batch. Here is a slight description for each including how many were in there and what they yielded. CL1/A / B / U / Y, are all currently curing. Will add some nug shots in the next update. :) I had 57 in there originally but culled 8 when I thought they were going hermie, so ended up only having 49 total. Premature freak-out, which I wish I didn't do as none hermed. Now I know and the nxt batch will be up asap. Watch for my updates!!! :)

CL1/A: 7 = (125.5g) or 17.9g each!! Nice smooth mixed skunky, fruity taste. Nice buzz lasting approx 2-3hrs.

CL1/B: 11 = (158.7) or 14.4 each. Similar to (A) with more of a fruity taste. Strongest and longest lasting buzz so far at around 3-4hrs with no hard comedown.

CL1/U: 5 = (59.4) or 11.8g each. This one is very smooth and covered in crystal but the high only lasts about an hour and not as strong as (A or B). Is being culled!!!

CL1/Y: 1 = (12.1g). Will update this one when I check her out. Growth was similar to CL1/B so everything else may be similar.

CL1/V: 1 = Update when ready!

CL1/T: 5 = Update when ready!

CT/2: 5 = Update when ready!

Current combined weight not including the 25 still in the tent is 355.6g Peace!!

Looks good and well detailed So on your next run are you going to scrap CL1/U and focus on the others since it was a low yielded and the smoke want as long? Your yield is kick ass for only 24 plants. I'm sure you will hit the pound mark when the rest of the girls finish. I hope I can yield in the 15 gram mark once my Pineapple Express clones root. Keep us posted on this good ass journal. Also did you use any additives with your nutes and did you feed every other day?

Thanks Sky :) Yes, CL1/U seems to have the lowest and shortest potency out of them all so far. I'm sure I will hit close to the 1g/w but we will see. I didn't use any additives in bloom, only GH G/M/B. I occasionally used Superthrive in Veg (moms). I will be grabbing some Dyna-gro products to test them out as i've read good things about them (Dyna-gro Foliage Pro & Pro-tekt. Also plan on trying PK 13/14. I will mention this when I run some comparisons to see what the pros n cons are, if any.

I'm still shocked at how easy Hempy growing is and to tell the truth, hand-watering 49 plants really wasn't to bad. My next run will consist of 64 in total: 15-CL1/A, 15-CL1/B, 15-CL1/T, 15-CL1/V, 2-CL1/U and 2-CL1/Y. The reason i'm doing a couple of the (U) again is to see if there is a difference w/o the stress of going outside in freezing temps for 5 hours (Annual inspection). I'm pretty sure the end results will be the same but I have to be sure before she is culled. CL1/Y is getting another run but is also inline to be culled as I don't really like her structure compared to the others.

I also started a bunch of seeds (A few posts back) with Swiss Cheese (grown previously) that was nice in all aspects, if I can find the proper phenos. CL3/A,B,C, which were the pinks (profile pic), might be one that provides the pink i'm looking for, As long as potency and yield equal out.

Eventually I hope to find a nice frosty male with all the qualities i'm looking for to cross some of my current moms with. I've run out of room so at some point I have to start culling more and work towards some other strains i'm interested in. Looking at a bunch of strains atm from breeders such as TGA, Bodhi, GDP, Gage Green and Rare Dankness. I only buy reg beans as I have had bad results with Fems, don't get me wrong, they worked well for me at the time but after they aged (around a year) they all started to herm on me and it only got worse from there.

I lined up a deal with a distribution company to buy some 2L trays to make watering a little easier on me (pain-wise). Each tray holds 8, hence having 64 in the next run for an equal 8x8 and as I stated make it a lot easier to water/inspect. Peace!!

Awesome stuff man i must commend your dedication to this hobby and to breeding, it seems like it would be a very rewarding and tedious journey, I'm also glad to hear that you expect to be pleased with your total yield and pull off over a gram per watt, i really hope i can get with in that range with my current grow and after seeing what you have done with just some GH flora series i believe it will be with in my grasp, thanks for all your help man and thanks for encouraging me to gro hempy!

My pleasure!! I enjoy helping out and always have. It's rewarding myself some karma back for all the wrongs i've done in this life. I'm sure to reach even eventually lol. Btw, you still owe me some bud porn, patiently waiting! :)

I'm a science nut, so anything to do with nature and how it works, i'm in. I think the main thing for breeding is seeing the outcome and all the pheno differences. I have to admit that i'm kinda shocked at how close the phenos are from this batch of beans. All I did was chuck some pollen!! It's really not that complex, it's more time consuming with keeping notes and to do it right requires a bunch of space to grow.

Thanks ECMo, I have a touch of Class A personality, with it comes the flip side of Procrastination haha. Gets me at the worst times too. Ya, not to bad of a haul so far. CL1/V n /T will be coming down in a couple days. Stay tuned, next batch will be even better. Plan on taking all the lower side branches off the phenos that throw them out. See how big we can make the tops w/o wasting all that energy on the lower popcorn :) Peace!!

Side note: I will only be adding perlite back to the medium. The vermicultie is nice to help keep moisture a little longer but a mess when cleaning the medium. I'm thinking of using a mesh screening of some kind on top of my medium to help hold in the moisture. Was thinking a soil cap but looking more into landscaping fabric or something along those lines. Reason i'm avoiding the soil cap mostly is with no soil comes no wet soil smell. Love it!!!
