Any suggestions on what is going on in picture number 2?
I had to go back and look again, haha. No worries at all mate, just keep em rocking where they areAny suggestions on what is going on in picture number 2?
Easty, you may be on to something here with the over watering diagnosis. While obviously one is not watering in a water culture system, you are kinda working in reverse in that you are required to pro actively supply DO as opposed to h2o. Leaf curling like that indicates that the relationship of h20/DO is off, and essentially the plant IS over watered, or more specifically UNDER OXYGENATED. Having no way of reducing the amount of h20 in a water culture system one can only INCREASE the amount of DO is said system. Contrary to popular belief plants are NOT capable of directly taking in the gaseous oxygen created by airstones, which is why UC systems work without airstones at all, and we as growers are interested in Dissolved Oxygen levels in any nutrient solution provided to plant roots. The way airstones aerate the solution is by creating bubbles that disturb the surface of any h20 source allowing unsaturated h2o to come in contact with the oxygen in its surrounding environment. In this case I believe that with increased turbidity in the culture the OP will see a dramatic improvement in leaf vigor. -S0uPSorry man, been out for a bit.
Sorry also forgot you're using DWC. Yes the airstones need to be on 24/7, overwatering isnt your problem, it looks like something else. Drooping leaves can also be a sign of under nuting, root slime or too high humidity. Have you checked the roots for slime? I havent seen the nutes your using but if that is about half strength it should be sweet. Only other question is your humidity, can you tell me some more details? Temp, humidity, pH, res temp etc?
Alologies for all the questions, just want to save you some stress if i can...
