Are any of the leaves on the female plant worth smoking, or is it mainly the bud that's collected? And, is the male totally worthless as far as smoking?
The bud is king, but what about the leaves?

male is worthless for anything. although ive heard of people making butter from them. leaves arent for smoking theyre for making hash, which is much better. so save all your leaves and buy some bubble bags

you can buy bubble bags or use a silk screen to filter all the trichomes out and press them into hash

some of the smaller leaves on or close to the buds are good to smoke, they will glisten with thc, magnifying glass will show you this and as far as males, the only thing they're good for imo is to pollinate females to produce seeds for future use, which I do every 3-4 years

I agree males are good for seed production of seeds/breeeding and that's about it.The female on the other hand all the trim and smaller leaf can be dried set in a freezer for about half hour to freeze the resin glands and make them brittle,mix it up hower you prefer,strain with bubble bags are best, coffee filters are second to that probably and you got buds and some hash to top it off with for and extra stoney baloney day
