Tommy chong has Prostate Cancer

WTF how is it I am just now finding this shit out? Apparently he's treating his prostate cancer with rick simpson oil....I saw a great interview with tommy where he was discussing his illness and how he believes he developed the cancer.

The prison that tommy had to serve his sentence out at had been built over a hazardous waste site that was used as an oil pool back in the day when they didn't have those nifty little pumps and caps the industry has today, and when they struck oil, they just trenched out a fucking pool and made an artificial oil lake which was the early oil industry's only way of harvesting the oil back then. The by product of these early methods of oil harvesting are massive environmental degradation affecting every form of life around the contaminated area.

If I can find the interview, I'll definitely post it...I think it was with that black dude on cnn. I will find it and post it...sure hope tommy makes it through!

It's old news now. Supposedly, for various reasons, the Simpson oil has not improved his condition- that's something I read recently. But it's been difficult to find additional updated info on his condition lately (which isn't a good sign).

he was just on the air, via phone, on a Michigan radio station. he sounded normal to me, not that cancer changes that. he and his buddy Cheech were together clowning around on the interview.

I grew up with tommy and cheech man...they were like heroes to me and my buddies growing up. It's unfortunate to see tommy going through this since I have been exposed to what cancer does to a person.... I can only wish the best and hope his pain is minimal. Cancer is a very ugly thing.
