Is It Guaranteed Eviction For Growing In Rentals?

If the LEO rolls through my front door, is it guaranteed that it will get back to the real estate/landlord if im renting my property? I am taking all the proper precautions in setting up my room but thats the only thing im stressing about. The off chance they do bust my ass is their any way around it getting back to the landlord? Do the LEO ring them? What if I said its my property? How do they find out?

Its my girl...She on my ass about her getting in trouble and evicted even if she claims to know nothing about it as its in the back room of my garage! Im from Aus by the way too so dont know if its diff in the US and UK!

Anyone know anything about these kind of procedures?

Its only gonna be 1-2 plants for personal use too. So its not some high tech elaborate grow op! I just want some nice nugs :)

At the expense of raining on your nug parade I will tell you that chances are it would get back to the landlord. The cops can either look up who owns the property and tell the landlord, ask you who owns the property and then tell the landlord, or someone else in the building who sees you get busted could tell the landlord. On top of that it would most likely be in the local paper and the landlord could see the article.
At that juncture he/she has a legal right to evict you b/c it is most certainly in the lease that illegal activity grounds for eviction. If you are in a legal state and have a card however it depends on how the state has decided to deal with it. Where I live they have let the landlord have final say if it is okay or not even if you have a legal grow. Meaning if they don't want it you can't have it.
On top of all that I hate to break it to you but if you are from AUS and here on visa or something and you get caught growing you could get deported. Not saying they would, but they could deport you.

I would go for it get oder controll and just follow them through the house on inspection day they never stay long because your there take the day of work mate you aint aussie unless you take a day or 2 lol

Yeh, im growing in the garage. It has a storage room at the back so its the perfect spot, Real estate wouldnt go out there and never have so far. Had an inspection last week so wont have another for at least 6 months. Just stressing about my girl gettin the boot. I can handle me, but she would be pissed as hell.

I think we'll be right as long as I use carbon air filter and insulation and what not. If anything was to happen she just gonna go with she didnt know story as im gonna have it all locked up with only one key...MINE :)

You're both morons!!! Dude, it's NOT YOUR PLACE, it's hers, and could effect how she's treated as a tenant in the future. Sounds to me like she don't mean shit to you if you're going against her will. Get your own place and quit being a bum!!

A very similar thread came up just recently, and I stated pretty much exactly what you just said.

I'm in agreement... don't risk the safety, security and long-term well being of family. Period.

In Canada, when someone gets busted with a grow op in a rental, the authorities certainly seek out the landlord. It won't be hard in this case, as your 'girl' isn't renting this place secretly, she's doing it legitimately.

If Johhny Law came knocking at the door with proper warrants. You should tell them the truth. Which is what you stated here. She isn't really involved. And it's two plants. If your not selling it then I don't see how it's going to draw attention. But you're in Australia. So I don't know. Sucks to have a desire to garden such an awesome plant and be limited by space.

And I think by growing, the owner could be responsible in a way. Therfore, if an owner sees it, they tell you to GTFO, or get IT out.

You came here for advice, and in two separate threads, the overwhelming consensus was "don't do it".

To be honest, you seem to be a very inconsiderate human who disregards everything around himself.

Read the OP? I did. Thoroughly. Yes, she can get evicted. She will also lose a potential reference if she's evicted. She can also be charged criminally.

I would highly recommend reconsidering your reasons for throwing around the term "fuck you"... dude. We're looking out for your sister's best interest here.

Don't sound like your covering shit growing in a rental...and you got the nerve to call me a fool..ha..you're going to do what you're going to do, so why your asking anyone about your stupidity is beyond me....you can't grow common sense, and maybe you need to read your own shit, cuz it sounds like it's her place not yours...

IN UK it costs £6000 to evict with court bills and such, usually last resort but certainly not an excuse by any means, just adding.

I tried growing in a rental.. The maintenance guy came 3 times and an appraisal guy came.. that means I had to find a hiding spot each time.. it was not worth the stress.

one of the maintenance guys saw what I had going on kinda,, he didnt see the plants... he knew what was going on... he just told me to be careful.. and he didn't tell the landlord. He was an old man that was cool... he talked about seeing led zeppelin live in 1970.

it is pretty safe to deal weed in a rental though... just gotta make sure you don't have too much foot traffic.. i limited it to 3 people per day

Of course any ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES can get you kicked out of a rental property.

This is a question that doesnt even need to be asked, common sense answers the question....

Pretty clear this guy knows the answer he just wants to justify doing what he wants to do regardless of the risk involved to the people around him.

In Canada all grow ops that get busted make the news paper every year. They state the address and postal code for everyone to see.
