I did watch a you tube vidio about the power companys looking for grows in a helicopter.The houses were glowing on infared and this was during the day.I have had a feild of 45 on 3 acres and he flew over 10 times but 3 days later when I got the nerve to go check my plants they were standing tall in the moonlight.What freaked me out was he landed within a few 100 yards from my plants but later I found out that someone brought the fat ass cops some lunch

Maybe someone can direct U to that ex-cop that be havin those videos on how not to end up where u claim to be & maybe he can inform u on how to get outta this pickle.

Not true; power companies do not profit from losing business and they do not get paid to rat out their customers. I have an RIU bud that is in management for a utility (power company) and he says they specifically do NOT turn over records to cops even if they suspect a grow op. They are there to sell more power, not less.

Again, I will say it one more time but this is the last about the subject. As said before on several threads, I understand that in America, Canada etc police don't use choppers much to detect indoor grows without prior information. The UK is completely different. In the UK,our higher population density, preference for 2 storey houses and lack of space makes loft grows etc popular, use of a chopper to survey heat signatures of large percentages of the population easy with a short flight and more viable than in other countries. A large percentage of our busts ARE due to helicopters, and I have personally lost some growing friends to it that lived less than 2 miles away from me. Even more recently the cops actually busted one of their own to discover that her newly built house simply had poor loft insulation.

You said if they knocked, you were going to yank your plant, hide, and not open the door.(Unless that was ANOTHER paranoid thread)
Why bother yanking your plant if you're not going to swallow it in case they really want in and kick the door in?
You're still gonna get charged the same with a dying plant on the floor next to a pot with a hole in the middle as you would if the plant was still in the pot.

When lived in fl choppers flew over all the time. I was paranoid as well. I figure if they knock, don't answer. If they see your grow, they will bust the door open not be knocking. They might have suspicion your growing, but not evidence. If you open the door they might be able to smell it etc... Then they got evidence and can come back. So basically if they are after you they will bust the door in. If they knock don't answer, you don't need to answer your door for anyone.

You are trippin over 5 plants? 5 Plants does NOT put off enough of a heat Signature to even be noticable, 500 yes, 5 NO. especialy if they are inside a growbox that is in a basement lol go smoke a bowl and relax.
