Why thank you sir, I`m trying to lay that out as a start to finish so others that had been asking me could see for themselves how I do it all for a strain I`m testing. When some of your little guys catch up, I`ll have no issues givin` you a hand getting the same results

plants look great, with the dawgs, and growing in a cfl enviroment i`d take off the lower branchs, maybe two nodes worth to help them focus the auxins to the tops and therefore give you the extra few grams (cause it all counts) when the chop time comes..

whats your light schedule?? 24/on 0 off, 18 on 6 off? i have only skimmed through the thread sorry you could have mentioned it but i missed it...

Hey , great to see some Premiership growers joining in on Cloudys thread. Ive known cloudys plants since they popped the soil, and if they turn out as good as they look then to hell with this pot lark, I'm growing in mop buckets.

for sure bilbo... you can grow in lots of containers once they block light to the roots your fine, but you want a good few litres of medium for roots to develop...

Agreed. You want a few drainage holes as to not rot the roots and get some airflow, but as long as there`s no light getting through, it`ll work. Grew a few outdoors in huge black garbage cans with 4 holes punched in the bottom once, worked great ;P

I'll vouch for that, Irish thread is friendly as you get, Scottish myself like, but my Mam's from Aghalee, Co Antrim, Ive got dozens of cousins some I've never even met and I love the place dearly.

indeed they are currently on 24/0! and over the past few days i have removed some of the bottom branches! and my mop buckets have plenty of drainage holes! they seem to love the extra space! to which they have thrived! and hijack away! i understand this thread has yet to reach true interest seeing as i have nothing in flower yet but i love to see people comment! i have been on the irish growers thread a bit but only to lurk. i feel i'm a bit outta the league of growers yet! and love the heisenberg pic ae86!

Back in town. glad to see nothing crazy happened. lol, i let a couple friends know to look out. if you ever have problems, you can feel free to pm bear county if you cant get me. hes happy to help.

and you got it right. i was talking about a wolfhound. Someone had one, and walked past my place. right along the township raod (i can see from my porch). it had a beard, was huge, and looked hilarious (common traits as im sure you know, kinda a unique dog). gave me a laugh. i was posting on your thread and i was getting a kick outta the rare irish dog apearing when i was writing on a fellow irishmans thread. and out here (middle of nowhere) wolfhounds are not something you see. it was ironic (at least to me)

and as far as peat pellets. i wont use em. i plant directly in soil, no pre germ bullshit. if it works for natire, why do anything else. its not like mother nature uses paper towels or rockwool to germ. i just dont use any of it. i germ in 70% peated soil. good enough for me

If you are growing even 1 plant, it makes you a grower. stay positive. keep following some of the advice (and those guides i told you about) and you will be a expert in no time. and theres actually tonnes of interest on your thread for a grow not yet in flower. im sure interest will contine to build.

no need to lurk my friend, the guys will always set you straight and help you along with no ideals either, i started off with the wrong kelvin and really low wattage cfls as it was all i could afford at the time and they set me on the green path and tought me alot, set me straight on the myths and legends of growing, we have a bit of banter too so really helps a fella feel comfortable and get into this hobby with gusto..

paper towel is for a better germ rate as some soils can be that bit too strong for seedlings, well thats the threoy anyways... others simply drop the seeds in a glass of water and place said glass in the cuboard for a day or so, also if the seed floats is prob a dud...

cloud on the water while i think of it.. you should leave it out overnight to "gas" off, this is the chlorine evaporateing away.. just a pointer as they tend to riddle our water with that shit ..

should say the 24/0 is alright for say the first week but they need to sleep aswell cloud, you should switch down to 18 on and 6 off, you`ll notice a better growth rate while staying in veg and it`ll save on the leccey a bit aswell....

i'll defo join in the convo so next i'm on the thread also i do leave the water to evaporate that damn chlorine.. it's fierce shite like and always a drop of vinegar to lower it's ph. it's over 7 down here.. as for my 24/0 light schedule. i've been meaning to drop it to 18/6 but due to my spastically dire financial situation (college goer) i have yet to purchase a timer switch, know any good places to get one? in a few weeks hen summer hits and i'll be working i'm gonna invest in a 400w hps. cos as much as i like my cfl's (love the heatlessness of them) having read about a million grow journals and hear the letters mh/hps thrown around like no tomorrow it's something that must be done.
