Well that would be interesting but I think most men like to be mothered, the little boy in them never seems to go away but then having said that the mothering instinct of a woman seems to play a big part in the caring of her man.
For some, yes, but that is like saying what women want is to be protected. End of. As some of the comments from the girls have shown is that there is a whole lot more they want, not just a couple of large desires. Im not much of a man, but in my case, there is a whole lot that I would like than the obvious desires, despite my girl not being explicitly told about them, she seems to do a good job, other than nagging at me for spending my hard learnt money on a new toy. id say this is what men dont understand, when to lie and let you be...or when to tell you the truth and risk you being pissed off. its usually not difficult to the difference between when your lady is embarrassing herself and when the man being a douche/controlling.
i would disagree that men want to be mothered (maybe subconsciously). id say they want a woman who reminds them of their mother (Oedipus complex), but doesnt treat them like their mother. psychology is strange...
