Hey everyone!!!! Noobie to the forum here but wanted to join and tell my story hopefully saving other folks some money/trouble. I have read a few old posts (2009-10) on this forum and others about people who had problems germinating seeds from the Next Generation breeders. I have grown plants from seed before so I like to think I have pretty good knowledge on the subject since I have always had good success. I recently purchased 12 different strains from Attitude seed bank in packs of 10 regular seeds. I planted 6 strains in this first batch and saved the other 6 strains for a later batch. Here are the first 6 strains I planted w/ their respective breeders:
1. Pineapple skunk - Humboldt seed organization
2. Super Skunk - Nirvana
3. Euforia - Dutch Passion
4. Pot of Gold - Flying Dutchman
5. THC Bomb - Bomb Seeds
6. Dynamite - Next Generation
I paid a little extra dough and ordered my seeds in the "crush proof" tins offered by Attitude and all the seeds arrived in great condition. I planted all 10 seeds from each breeder directly into the soil between 1/4 and 1/2 inch below the surface and kept them moist and warm just as I have always done in the past. By the end of the 3rd day most of the seeds had begun to break the surface. By the end of the 4th day almost all my seeds had sprouted. All EXCEPT the Next Generation Dynamites. I had 99% success rate will all the other strains 10/10 sprouted with the exception of 1 Euforia (9/10). But still not a single Dynamite seed has begun to sprout. Its been over a week now and all the other seeds have become good little plants 3-4" high. Now I know that some seeds may take up to 2 weeks to germinate so I'm gonna wait a lil longer and see what happens before I email Next Generation with my complaints, but I'm fairly certain I got bad seeds. Of course the irony of the situation is that the Dynamite seeds were the most expensive of all the seeds that I purchased and the least expensive "super skunk" were actually the first to sprout and are the tallest plants so far. I am very disappointed not only on account of the money (80$) I wasted but also because I was most looking forward to growing this strain. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" Isn't always true!!! Anyways, all comments, questions, similar or opposing stories would be greatly appreciated and I will update if anything changes or if/when I get any responses or hopefully reimbursements from Attitude or Next Generation.
