I agree that it is a beautiful state, my wife is from the Sidney, Mt. Upton area. Just that the government has made it a very undesirable state and if they don't do something quick, busted and disgusted will that state be.
They are pushing NY real estate all over the country, you can get property there cheaper by the day, and they throw in houses for free...lol

Undesirable to who? California and New York are 1st and 3rd place for population. They are states that people want to live in. Im not sure where you got that rapid decline in population thing from, but if you have a link post it up. Im not saying it's not true, but it just sounds like some bullshit that someone from a fly over state would make up.

"peace" :)

I think we can deduce that people who like living like ant farms lean liberal and those who like living with privacy and room are more conservative. This to me means people in places like Wyoming shouldn't make laws for people in NY or vice versa. It's OK for people to be different, it really is. State rights ftw!

Yes, WE are a nation of States with Counties. The towns come and go. Even LA will be in the sea one day, but not the County bits in the hills.

So, add that to my list of Rails of Freedom.

8 - Cities vs Counties and re-districting based on Cenus showing population movements.

When the sea levels do rise and the Big'uns on the coasts get inundated, we will still have Counties and States to oppose the Feds.

The Federal govt is only in charge of those things our elected representative let them have. But, it's very complicated and WE all do it in the end. The elected and hired Feds can only watch and try to punish.

"The War on Guns"

Should work out just as good as the war on drugs, or the war on terror, or the war on obesity, or the war on....

Look on the bright side... Instead of looking at it as "You have a year to turn in your guns", look as it as you have a whole year to move out of New York.

Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas...
I don't know much about those states, with the exception of Texas... But I give Texas credit for seeing the writing on the wall and trying to get their precious metals back from the Federal Government. They at least see that the Federal Government is playing games with their money.

It's why it is set up so you can say fuck certain States or fuck certain Rights, or who will trust who.

Well, you can say it. That Right, some might think is quite useless, in your case, but not me. Say what you want. Hate Jews or Islam out loud. Blacks, White. Just don't break bones with sticks and stones. Who cares? Maybe a lot care, but their actions not words, is their fault, iac. That's it.

Quite frankly the system is set up to protect us from these thoughts taking hold. It's just like the 2nd A and the others in the Bill. You don't get to say. The States fight the Feds over rights everyday in Court. In fact, the entire country fights with each other, each day, in real court, in front of real press, but most is a yawn of every day justice.

As I said, I'm a Che-ist, and to me it's all struggle for justice. I see this Real Court system, with no press gag, to be the heart of struggle. When i realized that in my 40s, I realized I was home and I could have meaningful struggle for justice any time I like, for myself. And I can join the fray or sit back and complain or not. Freedom, actual.

I just beat the pants off the local AAMCO guy in Small Claims. Everyone that talked to me and agreed to come to Court on my behalf, were issued Summons by the Court on my request. By the looks and grumps, I could tell not one of them would have showed up.

Then, being prepared with sworn experts, etc, I easily got the Judgment.

And the guy just looked at me and shrugged. "So what?," he mouthed. I'll show you, so what.
Most people think you can't collect Judgments. HA.

I had him back in court 30 days later. Another Summons. I played at asking the judge if we could come to some agreement just to have proceeding. The AAMCO guy just smirked.

OK< "Your Honor, I'm within my Right to ask you to empty this man's wallet."

He freaked of course, got all bombastic. "How dare you!!!" he roared. The judge just held up a finger, and flipped back and forth with his papers....looked again. Looked up, at me.

"Mr Doer, that is after 30 business days, correct. But, I checked and the Court Holiday, that was last week, means your claim would only be valid tomorrow."

Then quickly before Judge could bang the session over, I said. "Your Honor here is the Request for Judgment Encumbrance on his Personal Residence. Stun!

(long protest about interlocking Corporations, business liability shielding, vacation home....didn't fly)

He wrote me a check.

So, if you feel like you aren't part of this, have no power, it is all the Govt, etc, that may be true most everywhere else.

Not in the USA. You are so wrong. You get in front of any judge as a clearly wronged citizen of the USA, you will find a very respectful treatment and you will know you rank above him as a Sovereign. We made that asshole give me my money back. The Judge was happy to help. It's his job.

WE got the power. Our history is this, exactly. Fuck them. And we have the courts and guns, lawyers and money to fuck each other, and we do. WE fuck this govt and suckle our young with it. It's self rule. We have no compunction against wishing/pushing this on the entire world, as anyone can plainly see.

Does it suck? Sure does. It only takes a small rock of crack to get that. :)

my income is now in the 60K range...

I have so much work that I am training another person to handle the overflow.
i should just present this without comment.

but the fact is that you bragged about making $60,000 a year, and you were 45-55 years old at the time.

that is just pathetic.

by the way, how did your one employee ever work out for ya?
