So my little brother went in my closet, turned on the lights, saw my plant, turned the lights off and walked out.
He said they were cool tomato plants haha but im more worried about the lights being on my plants as they were in the dark period of 12/12.
Should I be worried about them going herm and how fast would signs start to show?

I don't knwo much about growing, still a noobie. But I highly doubt a brief time would do much. Plants have bright moonlight on them in the wild, and do fine.

What tusselx2 said. A little interruption by light should be okay. I have constant small light leaks from CFLs and never have issues.

light leaks bring up another point... I have a veg cabinet in my flower room it has a1 inch hole as Ann intake with cfls inside burning 24 hr. Light pots out that little hole my flowering plant is on the other side of the room about 3 ft away.... No problems.... 2.5x7 room 2.5x2.5 flower area on one side kitchen base cabinet packed with cfl on the other side

The light shouldnt be a big deal, dont let it become a habit.

Perhaps your little brother is a problem now though.

Sorry to tell you this, but I am afraid the little brother is going to have to be "taken care of"

My condolences for your loss.

A couple interruptions shouldn't hurt to much, it could possibly slow flower a little bit (but I doubt it). These guys talking about persistent light leaks though are just asking for balls

Haha I love the responses, no hes only 8 and has several of his own tomato plants so hes more concerned with the fact that his are bigger than mine.
Im more concerned about my step dad figuring out I dont actually have tomatos growing in the closet at my apartment haha
Thanks for all the info though
