I gave you enough data. Compare that result to the other.

Unless i'm missing something you posted lab test results from someone elses grow of the same cut you grew, it had about a 2% difference in THC content. Not a very good comparison. Where is the info on the 10% increase that you mentioned before?

2% of increase is a 10% percent increase friend... 2 goes into 20 10 times=10%...but again your math is faulty as it was 20% increased to 23%...

I never saidit added 10% to the total...but 2% more of the of the original value is 10%

And let me tell you it is very easy to tell which is stronger...not just that but the high is much more psychedelic and longer lasting

And a 2-3 % actual increase along with high shifting to what I desire is well worth 140 extra watts over the 1600 watts main lighting

Well my head hurts after reading this thread so...I only have one question: I like to grow different strains in my tent, some sativa dom, others indica, some a balanced mix. I glean from this thread that uv-b appears to help with a trippier high, so what does it do with an indica dominant or even almost all indica strain?

Has a similar effect but to a lesser degree.. which I suspect is that thcv is not produced by indies

If weed grown in the mountains is more potent because the UVB is stronger at higher altitude, than adding UVB light at a higher concentration directly to the plant would have the same effect. I cannot wait until someone comes out with a UVB LED light specific for growing. I sure would like to patent that baby.

Believe 100 milliwatt = 1 watt
The 9 watt LED light I have on my fish tank is pretty bright. It grows plants in an 18inch deep tank like crazy. If it was similar to 48 inch fish tank LED's (ie 8 or 10K) and had 1/2 or 1 watt bulbs and maybe 2 rows of 50 led's that emitted 310nm and above it would do the trick. It would only need to be similar to what the UVB 10% bulbs do. Their only 36 to 40 watt each and make a difference.

sorry but those normal 10% bulbs don't do crap...requires 150-400 uw/cm2 to produce the effect...those 10% put out at best 50 uw/cm2 at 1 inch from the bulbs...I konw I tested lots of them with my uvb meter...1000 milliwatts = 1 watt

Some of you guys worry too much. Just learn good plant culture, master your gardening techniques and you'll produce a lot of potent bud without all the inputs that may or may not have any real world effect.

Kite High, so if I got my math right, if I installed 2 - four lamp fixtures on each wall my room, it would cost $ 1200 for bulbs alone ($50x24=1200). Then with fixtures at say $100 each, that system would cost $1800? Is that true?
