Quick question start inside or out

I know this ? Has been asked before but I've only dabbled in outdoor.
Ok startin an auto. And I'm in texas. Gets pretty hot but next few weeks should be pretty mild
Is it safe to start in final pot outside or should I start inside til it's established a few leaves?
It's also supposed to rain a few times.. Of course I'd bring inside if it rains hard
Just wondering if.. Since its an auto I should skip hardening off or if I should start inside..how long 1,2,3 weeks?
I know it's a pretty elementary ? But if anyone with experience can suggest anything I'd apprecciate it

It's almost always better to start inside if you can. We I used to do autos outdoors I would start them inside under lights until they showed sex. Around 2-3 weeks. Then, transplant them to their final home in 3 gallon buckets. Autos are a great way to get a little bit of fresh bud early in the season, but don't expect much from them. I've seen autos pull a few ounces indoors, but expect around 1 to 1 1/2 oz per plant. To maximize your yield, you'll want at least a 3 gallon bucket and as much light as possible. Working with a good strain help too obviously. I used to run Pandora from Paradise with great results. You can pull close to 2oz per plant with that strain if you do it right.

Thanks for the advice always nice to hear first hand experience yeah I'm expecting more like a half ounce and need them to stay small... Figure I could do 8 little plants get a qp from the free sunshine that's plenty for me and the wife til my indoor is finished
Got a shit load of 3 1/2 gallon buckets for free
And i have a nice little pepper/tomato garden that gets lots of sun... Only worried about the high temps here. Been lookin for heat resistant autos but I guess if the root system is nice and established and I give lots of love and water they should make out ok
Thing I love about autos is I can try 8 diff types.. Variety is big for me my tolerance seems not to build as fast if I'm smokin diff flavored
But yeah I'll go ahead and bring her inside for a week or two matter fact I'm going outta town the end of this month might as well wait til the first to put them outside. Broke my timer so all I have is 24hr veg area for now. I'm hoping it doesn't shock them too much going from 24 hr t5 to the great outdoors anyways wish me luck with my little experiment. If it goes well ill be buying some reg autos and make my own seeds or thinking of getting a critical+ auto and spraying with cs for fem seeds. Guess we will know what's gonna happen in a few months thanks again for the tip sonar
