Hey man I have a profound knowledge of rock and roll from its inception in the 1950s through to present day.

Personally I have every Nirvana album and I have listened to them a few times. However Grunge only makes up a small percentage of the music I listen to. Nirvana is alright, but I have dozens of bands I would listen to instead of them in a heartbeat.

As for lake of fire (from a musicians' point of view) the drums were repetitive, the vocals were constrained and the bass was disconnected from the song. But then again, that makes it distinctly Nirvana.

Damn, I love the Meat Puppets! And Nirvana's cover of Lake of Fire was pretty good. :D

I don't know if I'd call it "orgasmic", but it sure makes me tap my toe and I always have to sing along.
Yaa! thats what im sayin seamaiden. I love that album.

Yup toe tappin and song seduction are the early signs of a music orgasm, dont you see?

Youtube Cake. Friend is a Four Letter Word. That's one of my faves of theirs. Otherwise, what I like is too weird to list, unless you've already heard of Amon Tobin, Fila Brazillia, Beck (lots of youz have heard of Beck, yeah?).. shit, just too much to list.

That's the beginning, yes, but for me, a song that's worthy of the "orgasmic" rating has to give me tingles. Or make me cry. There are those pieces that do that.

ha. Crazy train was the first song I learned when I started playing guitar. My friends wanted to start a band to play a street festival so I bought a guitar. I remember to motivate myself I said that my goal was to learn the top ten greatest guitar solos of all time, and crazy train was number 9. I played for 7 hours a day for weeks and I could play it all the way through. Now that I finished the top ten solos nothing I want to play is too difficult.
