MH light question

I've just found sylvania HSI-THX CO 400w Metal Halide bulb
The info is 36000 lumens and 4200K. here is the pic of the light spectrum

As i read, the light should be in the cool blue range for vegetative growth (as most Metal Halide) and red for flowering (HPS). But instead of big range cover at some color, there are peaks of green, yellow and blue. So my question is how well this bulb can do at growing ?

hit the hydro store, that bulb is for a street light or a warehouse light ? totally different, you need a 6500 k bulb found in any hydro store, some quick advice don't try to root clones with a mh, the success rate will be very low , use florescent . mh bulbs kick ass for veg . very close to having them out side !

yes, the bulb is often used for sports terrains also. but where i come from there is not much to chose from. so is this suitable for vegetative growing at least?

Already got 5 CFL's but when you compare to this light, can i expect better growing?

so called horti bulbs are merely relabeled repackaged commercial lighting...it will work fine for veg and you could flower with it also if need be

Not all horticultural bulbs are repacked commercial lighting. Case in point: Hortilux Blue Metal Halide.
