It's only 72w of fluros and a 4" extractor I only turned on tonight... Just didn't think it would get that hot. Thinking it should keep the heat in check.
Seems to be doing the job anyway. My only concern at the moment is the 13" height. Made it to fit between two shelves and thinking now I should have went all out and made it a decent size. Another little vegging room wouldn't be a bad thing

its a flouro tube tho pad they get a bit hotter than cfl bulb don`t they...

and sure hind sight is a great thing pad, theres afew things i`d have changed here myself but sure what can you do but soilder on, maybe build up a bigger veg box and use that one for clones???

or the ballasted end of the bulb.... do you have yours hanging like a traditional bulb or sideways or what??? you get better light haveing them sideways as in buds pic`s if you flick back, or pads flouro box....

mine hang like they do in the house but thats from me being lazy..

i got one hanging horizontally thanks to the reflector that came with it. but the second one is vert.. any attempt at hanging it horizontally has failed..

wouldn`t worry cloudy its not held mine back when i grew with cfl`s only, i say only as now i have the hps and the cfl`s going now, but after seeing sambo`s pic`s a few pages back i`m really thinking of hanging that second 600w now... i could do with the yeild ....

heat and condensation are no longer problems, well not since the changes i made to the new spot, have air movement sorted and exhaust, place is wired right etc etc so its just the leccey thats holding me back now, will know soon enough tho, just waiting on this months bill to come and we could be in business if its low enough, god knows i`ve been keeping her away from the dryer for ages....hahahahaha....

you get kits in grow shops for 250w, 400w and 600w they come with reflectors etc so plug and play.. got my 600 in cig for 150, last year, its been on 12/12 everyday since and not missed a beat...

the ballast is a noisey cunt but not that you`d hear it outside the room your growing in...

you`ll do well with the cfl`s cloudy i think you can see that yourself in the plants you got going, there starting to bloom now so give it a week or two and you`ll see some real progress...

slow going this growing malarkie, but its worth it in the end.....

Ah I can talk some smack to the englishman on here since I'm from the states. I recall a few colonies handing that british empires ass to itself in the revolutionary war and over time becoming the only world superpower........but its all in fun, mate!

Oh and having the best bud in the world.....most of the dams strains originated on the west coast mainly california my home.

Nothing too exotic bro... Ak 48, Lemon Diesel, Blue Dream, Jack 33, and a couple sssdh under a 400 and 250 side by side...

love a strain like that, aiming for two strain stable myself, one to get you through the day something nice head high, or just chop a heavy strain early...

been off the weed for so long now i`m just haveing one of those salavating nights, would love a smoke, and not just the one hahaha would get greedy with best part of an ounce i can tell you...

these strains are makeing my mouth water, can imagine a hugh spliff with a cuppa now, the aroma`s and taste... fuck me i`m on the wrong site for a fella with little will power hahahahaha.....


how far along are they dude? you only starting, mid ways through or in full flower... the latter being the ideal one....
