out/in door mix

well basically im in a jam right now.
i have my plant in window sill at sunrise till about 3pm, then the sun doesnt it in anymore because sun obviously sets in the west which my window isnt facing..
soo.. after that i was wondering if i could move it under a light in my house to finsh the 18-6 cycle.
or will it screw around with the plant?

+ its not really a good light i have, i didnt even know i had it, i found it laying in the basement.
on the ballast it says T3 150W Max
idk if this is any good? but what do u guys think?

i would get some cfls and veg under them fuck indirect sunlight your gonna stretch you babys till they are useless

okay what does the bulb say, ballasts can run many kinds of bulbs they just make the electricity that is in you house usable for the tubes

well my prob is, the bulb looks like this

so i cant actually get to the bulb itself
so not really to sure.. it is really bright.. and gets hot direct under it.

those kind of lights waste a lot of electricity as compared to hid lights and cfls if i were you i would invest 40 or 50 into your girls in a couple of weeks and get some cfls and clamp lights you dont have to go crazy with wattage 100 to 150w equiv will do some good

o yea im definitely planning on getting something better.. i was just wondering for now... until i can get something.. will that light do

well i think it will work just be careful not ot fry your babies you will be so sad if you do i know i would be. That is the one thing i like about cfls they are good if you are on a budget cause you dont need a million lights at once your collection grows as your babies do and for people that say that cfls are bad for grows they can bite me i did fine so far

nice grow. yea actually i was looking at a
400w HPS Euro Inline cooler setup
its about 200 dollars.
cooled and comes with ballast/reflector and all.
i was going to invest in that. but just for now use outdoor/that light

i would love to upgrade to hps but i cant get an outdoor vent setup goin for it. just be careful with the sun i have seen it stretch out plants tall is great but leaves are better. because if you got lots of leaves you have the potential for lots of buds. Good luck on your grow and just keep googlin shit it helps more than you can imagine, oh and you tube too search for i grow chronic there is a good video tutorial.

hey whats up? you seem to know a bit so im going to ask you.... how long after flowering do you harvest? how do you know when its done? also, do you know anything about cloning? i need some advise on what to use how to set up and overall how to do it... can you help me?
