whats the best way to dry your buds???

ok so i figured i would ask the world on what's the best way to dry your buds.. i have tried hanging them with the leaves on and off ,i have laid them on screens .i have put them in brown bags , cardboard boxes with fans, and now i have a new flower drier 6teir rack 24'' in diameter . its hung in my flower room on my light rail with my exhaust fan going and one single fan for circulation. the rack is on my rail going back and forth as my light would so i get an even dry.i spent $45 on this thing, the only thing i don't like about the new flower drier is the buds have a flat side..lol seems like a little thing but myfinished 017.jpg buds look lazy and retarded .. still taste the same...the good thing is i can keep everything separate and nothing will fall of the rack like they do sometimes when you hang on strings..
so what have you tried with great success? or shitty success,

I just hung mine up in the same box I used to keep plants vegging over winter. It has one computer fan blowing air in and one fan blowing air out, I just pulled all the majorly big fan leaves off and let hang with the rest of the leaves till the outside leaves were crispy then cut up and trimmed for the cure.. I should have let it hang for a little longer but so far it smells amazing and is stickier than all hell so I just gotta let air out more than normal and it will be some quality smoke. I thought about putting mesh of some sort in separate tiers to achieve the same thing you got pictured above but I just never did. Good luck!

thanks for the replies, i thought the same when i posted that, i roll the buds so they get kinda square,lol [].. but there drying nice and even so i think i'll keep the thing and dry this way but in a different room i am working on a sog set up. so my flower room will be in use. thanks again

for me, easy breezy, just cut the branches and trim the fans and let em swing in the breeze for about 10 days then do a manicure and jar em up

sorry I was being poetic...I string yarn in my dark flower room and hang the branches in the dark with fans blowing on high....in the dark flower room which is dark...;-)

Haha oohhh much better. I was picturing a bunch of branches just swinging around on some super windy day in the middle of your backyard

hahaha, we have lots of super windy days here in the mountains, i pictured it too and had a laugh.

I'll tell you what, the most valuable information I ever obtained was on RIU. And that you harvest, trim fans, dry 7 to ten, anf fine manicure. Nothing worse than being a newb and trimming everything up front and getting hay smelling buds.

One step I modified is, I harvest, trim fan leaves, hang for 7 to 10, then sections them still connected to large stems, then cure in half gallon masons for 2 weeks, then fine manicure while transfering into smaller more manageable mason jars. And getting rid of all the larger stems that had been connected.

Something about them curing the first two weeks while attached to a large section of branch material extends the cellular breakdown.
