Hi all,
I passed by the club today and got a few kushes to try including some darkstar by THSEEDS. Apparently a cross between purple kush and mazar. It was grown in soil and organically.
The buds look really interesting. Quite long buds almost in a puzzle shape with a lot of amber crystals around though not as many as i've seen but still smoothered. Deep green colour with hardly any pistils just rock hard buds that keep their interesting shape. I'll give it a 8.5/10 in appearance.
The smell is not anything out of this world. It smells quite earthy slightly musky and very afghani. There really isnt much to say about the smell, it's not bad but it really isnt great either to be honest. I give it a 4/10.
When burnt it produces a looovely clean smooth though heavy indica smoke. You can tell as you inhale it might get you really stoned. The taste is as expected from the smell, nothing special. Quite standard old school indica taste really like its 1990 again though nothing you'd remember. However as i previously said it produces fumes you enjoy enhaling. I'll give it a 5/10 in terms of taste.
The high is where this strain gets its reputation. It really is strong!!! I'd even add slightly stupifying to it. It surprises you since smell and taste arent anything special though if you've smoked a lot of old school stuff you know when youre inhale something that will fuck you up. This does that If i had two blunts i'd be going to sleep no questions asked. It relaxes your body big times and makes you not give a shit about anything, i think it might be good for people trying to get medicated. It's a creeper as well and the high sticks to you for a long time, it's quite a snoozy one though. I have to give it a 9/10 in terms of effect cause it really blowed me away how strong it turned out to be!
Overall this strain surprised me a lot and even though its not an exceptional taste nor fragrance it still gets you fucking stoned with just one blunt. I have to give it 7.5-8/10. I was 20 euros for 2,5 grams for you guys' curiosity.
