Morning all, was just up in the allotment to have a look at the veg after the heavy rain last night. Beetroot seedlings are flying along, cabbage is doing well even though some slugs have eaten a few of them. All my courgette transplants are gone lol, something must have eaten the lot of them, all the roots are still there. No sign of the maincrop potatoes yet...I think they are all fooked.

Have you tried beer traps for the slugs?
Sorry to hear about the courgettes.

Just finished work at 3 and decided at work to go home and chop my dwc girl cause the roots are bad, when i got home a package came for me from usa with the subculture-b! i only ordered it on Wednesday or thursday and its here already! so i am giving the plant a reprieve and changed out the rez stopped using h202 and pythoff and just added low strength nutes and subculture-b so i will see what happens if its able to eat this brown slime and save my girl! fingers crossed

Hopefully that will work for you Kang.
The shipping was fast from the US,usually the customs process will delay delivery so you were lucky enough there.
Who did you order off?

Just a hydro shop on amazon, shipping was incredibly fast better than if i ordered it from ireland! when i read the dosage on the label it said for a strong dose use 1 teaspoon per gallon so thats what i used but then when i read it again that dosage was for soil and it says in hydro use 1 teaspoon in 5 gallons lol i added 2 teaspoons to 3 gallons, am sure it will be ok, can you od on good Bactria i wonder? mdjenks whats your experience with subculture-b u said you use it

Ae, I'll get some pics of the 'zilla up when the lights go off. It's day 29 12/12 today, last pic I took was yesterday but you can't see anything with the lights on, she is still stretching at day 29 and I have had to supercrop a lot of the tops that were getting too close to the bulb. I think the pound marker will be broken with this one, ever since the 600w went in there she has just exploded. Biggest problem now is no vertical room, the tops are now within 6 inches of the bulb lol. Here's a pic I took yesterday that shows you nothing really, better pics with the lights off.

Sorry... i meant bulbs nutes etc...
I got a load of stuff this year on adverts.ie and donedeal.I bought a complete hydro set up with 12 pots and got everything except the reservoir for 125E,all need to do now is learn how to use it and I got tent,a switable ballast, nutes and bulbs etc for 180 on donedeal and a quality digital ballast off ebay..Also got the bluelab truncheon and horticare ph meter, fan controller and loads more on adverts for small money.
I find this site competitive enough with their prices, they're based in the North.
