New GMC Sierra Truck Project

Hey there boys and girls hows it going.

I have a 2012 GMC Sierra 4WD Black, I've currently been thinking about adding a lift kit to it 7.5" kit and some new mud tires.

Its not nearly expensive as I thought it was going to be the lift kit is only $999, the rims are 20" $203 each which isn't to bad and finally the wheels which are $189 each but im not complaining.

So all together im going to spend around $2612 plus the taxes which isn't bad it could be alot worse! The instructions say around 10-12 hours but it make take a day or so for me since I plan on just doing in my garage with a buddy of mine.

bad idea.Have you ever uninstalled or installed suspensions before?.It isn't as easy as just following instructions.My suggestion...fill up your bottles b/c you're gonna be torching

10 or 12 hours LOL maybe in a truck shop,not in your garage w/ a buddy.Unless you are both pros.

Yeahh i've done suspensions before i grew up around cars my dad was a mechanic years ago. Ohh i know nothing ever as easy as it seems i leanred that long ago haha, I have 2 welders and a hoist so it won't be to bad. Thats what i said 10-12 hours at a truck shop but really a day or so since its me and a buddy.

My dad is a tv repair man with a awsome set of tools.But really I wouldn't fuck with a new GMC.I wouldn't trust a soul w/ my new truck.I have fought for days with a single bushing before.Besides lift kits make girls think you have a small peter
If that truck were mine,I might buy some rims and some wax and keep it beautiful

for the record,my newest truck so far is a 89,so I don't know shit about new trucks

I was always curious about if your a like a cable/tv dude can you just like hook up your own cable for free ? I wasn't going to fuck with it but I have this thing for mudding and the stock height just isn't cutting it because at first I was just going to go with bigger wheels . Eh I have a girl and she knows my peters not small and thats all that matters hahah

My buddie has a 2010 gmc diesel,he went 7" or 9" and bigger tires/rims and has been miserable!! Had it all professionally done at a well known performance shop too! Lots of vibration issues,and he spent $8500....
2012? Pretty nice truck to take a gamble with! Bigger the lift-bigger the life long issues...
Shit,a 3" lift and rims/tires can transform a truck.

yeah lifts fuck a truck up.I'd build a truck for just off road use.IMO,much more fun,cheaper and the 2012 stays in tip top shape.I'd keep the new gmc on the pavement
