Any help will be much appreciated :)

So i want to get this 5' X 5' gorilla grow tent setup with the 6 site option & all the enhancement ( except growing glasses ).

http://supercloset.com/product/grow-rooms/5-x-5-superroom-best-grow-room/

i am a real newb & have never grown really before ( besides a little hobby plant me & my sister tried ) I have little knowledge of hydroponics & how it works exactly. i know its soiless & that with this system it cycles the water through to feed it nutrients. If anyone can elaborate more, that would be awesome.

i also have some questions about the system itself.

Would it be better to upgrade to the 1000w or stick with the 600w? I want to grow 6 plants as big as i can & read that 1000w might be too much, but i also read that using the 1000w will grow your plants bigger lol. Someone please clarify

How much could i expect to yield? i know there are a lot of factors but approximately how much with 6 plants?

How fast could i expect to cycle through a harvest? im not trying to rush my harvest by any means. i just want to know what to expect. I heard it i could do 1 month veg & 2-3 month flowering?

Drying vs. Curing- Which one is better? About how long to each take?

i picked this system because it seems very professional, heavy duty, & amazingly discrete. Please feel free to provide any info that you think would be of use to a newb like me lol. All positive help will be appreciated!

5'x5' is a very large tent even for 1000W. You're lighting 25sqft. 40-50W/sqft is considered good light coverage. 1000W in 25sqft is 40W/sqft, so adequate. 600W wouldn't justify getting such a large tent.

Also, keep in mind that the fewer plants you have, the longer it will take in veg (24/0 lighting) to fill up the canopy area to be ready for 12/12.

More plants allows you to fill that area faster with less veg time, and thus the less time spent in 24/0 lighting.

For a 5'x5' setup, you'd really want a separate mother/veg/clone tent to get the most out of your 5x5 flowering room.

I'd really recommend 2x600W lamps over 1x1000W lamp for a 5'x5' setup too. 1200W more evenly over 25sqft, and gives 48W/sqft. If you have a 600W, just get another.

I would go for the 1000watt with a quality reflector, perfect fit for a 5x5 imo (as is 600 for a 4x4 and 400 watt for 3x3). Nothing wrong with having some extra space on the side for fans and whatnot, plus it's easier to control heat in a larger tent.

I'd say pick up a book or video on how to grow. For example Jorge Cervantes. The tutorials will help guide you in all of your needs of growing good medicine. But If I was growing in a 5x5 gorilla tent I would grow vertical. 2x400, 2x600, or 2x1000's. You would get the most out of your 5x5 tent. Pm me if you want the website.
