The black bubbah was alright, I could just tell the THC content wasn't as high though

Woke up to find my poor plants have been harassed and beaten

I fucking know it was my neighbor's kids, too. Why else pull a plant out, somewhat out, and then slightly as if someone stopped themselves?

Even the absolute last hope of marijuana I had, my baby growing was fucked with too. It's too late to save her

Happy Sunday RIU!

So I've been reading through some of the threads about bho production, and I'm still going to compose a thread highlighting my technique...which I've researched for about 5-6 straight months.

I just noticed that I've seen many folks blasting directly into parchment paper.

N-butane and the silicone found on parchment paper are not compatible and causes the silicone to flake off in bits, once this occurs, silicone is now bonded to the raw oleoresin.

I used the same tech many times, then somebody informed me of this info, and I took it for a falsehood, as I experienced no negative symptoms.

My very next run, I watched and observed closely as I was spraying my tane.

Sure enough, if you look close enough, the moment the tane hits the paper, little white flakes were floating everywhere.

Unsure if this was just the strain I was running, because the flakes looked like plant wax, I was even further concerned..I then took a sheet of parchment, and sprayed it directly with butane...the flakes were very visually apparent.

This experiment validated the fact that one shouldn't blast their errls directly onto parchment.

Please, blast on inert surfaces only (glass), and wait til all liquid butane is evaporated before transferring to parchment.

I did not want to insult anybody, in their technique...I'm simply looking to pass on important info, to keep all my fellow blades safe and healthy.

And some shatter-porn

@Chef...
Man, when I was at The Treehouse yesterday...I saw your cut...and holy fuck it looked so tempting.

Beautiful flowers, covered in trikes...

But, alas, there wasn't much left...I can see it was gone as soon as it hit the shelf...haha

I'm hoping the next time I'm in, they'll have more of your cut...just had some smaller nugs and shake left over...but even the bottom of the barrel stuff looked awesome, sooooo stoked to try that in the very, very near future.

Any idea when more will hit the shelf?...I wanna blast some, and make me some candy...haha

Hey, no problem at all my friend. I love being friendly and chatty with fellow growers. You make some beautiful extractions my friend.
I would love to do more concentrates with my stash, but I need to finish expanding my grow area first.
Hope your day is going well my brother...mine is going pretty well...Ran a few miles yesterday, walked a few today...man the weather is beautiful outside.
Time to get some watering/transplanting/cloning done...chat with you soon, bro. :eyesmoke:

Hells yeah Mid, I really do appreciate the warm vibes, I find it really cool when good peeps can come together and make friends on a forum.

(well depending on the type of forum) lol...there are some straight wacko people out there.

Yeah, as I mentioned in some other thread...blasting top shelf nugs from shops is costing me way too much money, so I may stop blasting until I get my garden rolling, right now I'm in an apartment, and looking for a house in a month or so.

I've already got a ballast, hood and a couple lamps, just feel like I should wait til I'm in a house before I begin my growing journey.

I'm gonna need some tips for sure, never grown before, hope y'all are willing to help me along...haha

And.. Copywrite this shit! FIREHOUSE GENETICS COLORADO tshirts are here. Just gonna get the program together now. But I'm looking into our state laws and how one could buy a shirt and get a present (or gift if you will) with it :)

Looks like rabbit damage to me. I watched a bunny destroy my neighbors garden for while before sending the dog to put a stop and learned that they will rip/tear/shred while nibbling/sampling as they go. They are like random robots set for destruction. Not sure if they will eat cannabis, but for sure they will tear into it and taste it.

^ Damn...nice spot bro.

There are tons of little fucking bunnies all over The Springs.

*Red-eyed-demon-cannabis eating/destroying minions*

One morning I saw a fox stretching to try to reach a cat on a 6 foot fence and then realized that he was going to eat it if he could reach it. Beautiful but gruesome. I found pieces of a cat at a local park, probably the victim of a fox. The call that foxes scream to each other in the late season is blood curdling, sounds like a cat being tortured. Probably music to a fox. Keeping rabbits out of a garden is a challenge, they can squeeze into a very small gap to get around a fence.
