This problem has been a little over a week ongoing. I posted a request in the problems section but so many answers referred to soil growing.
Plants had been transplanted into my grow box for about 6 days when they began to yellow with dark veins in the center.
Thought it was a def since we had been feeding on a transplant nute mixture. But the temperature in the box was also getting high. In an un air-conditioned room and temp would get up to low 90s.
So, mixed a new batch of nutes to the veg stage formula according to Technaflora's sheet.
After three more days they looked like this:
Roots didn't feel slimy but they look a little off. It was suggested I just run plain water for 6-8 hours in case it was a lock-out. Which we did. They seemed to perk up some but we still felt that it was too hot in the cabinet.
So, we moved box into an air-conditioned room and temp in box dropped to a max of 80 and water temp to 70. After moving we mixed up a new batch of nutes. It was suggested we cut back on the nutes to about 50%. We did that. PH during all of this at about 5.8-6.0.
Thought new growth was rallying and maybe we beat it. These pics are from 24 hours ago at the end of a dark cycle: View attachment 2682684View attachment 2682685
Then the following pictures are at the end of the light cycle yesterday. PPM at this point is at 519 and PH at 6. (Remember we mixed up the nutes at half strength rather than shock them.) View attachment 2682688View attachment 2682689
Then here they are 6 hours later at the end of the dark cycle:
Temp in box 70 this morning.Maybe you experienced growers can see a pattern here.
Help! Is it deficiency (potassium maybe?) or are the nutes locked out. I don't want to keep guessing with my inexperience. I've put healing crystals in the box with them and I even did a session of Reiki on them this morning. (Hey, don't laugh. I've used it on birds and humans, plants are living too.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and should I go ahead and pull yellowed leafs off? Didn't want to stress them anymore if that would hurt.
