A previous poster said an e-mail from SoS says they are from "a Spanish breeder'. Nothing about Amsterdam.
The poster was E M. He runs the show at SOS. Most are from Spain. The guy is so busy his head is spinning right now. Every strain listed matches up with the breeders listed here.

  • Here are the freebie breeders:

    1. Auto Somango Fem from Advanced seeds
    2. Auto Amnessia Fem from Green Label
    3. Power Skunk from Kannabia
    4. Sleestack x Skunk from DNA (2)
    5. White Widow x White Widow from Dinafem
    6. 7/8 Sour from Loud seeds (2)

    I am pretty sure these are the breeders. There are three breeders from Spain. Kannabia, Advanced, and Dinafem. The others are Loud from CA and Green Label from Amsterdam. I think they are great freebies. I have a Power Skunk up right now. She's a week old and looks good. She was my first bean to crack too. DNA is from Amsterdam.​


What about the Black Domina x Super Skunk, or is that the power skunk?

Wrong. The poster was me. And EM sent me an email where he explicitly said that all the freebies were from Spain... except for the Loud 7/8 Sour. I even posted his email response in this thread. A direct copy n paste of both his email response and my emailed questions. Word for word.

My apologies but EZ and E M threw me off. I looked up the strains and found the breeders but if I am wrong then my bad but these exact strains are listed by these breeders. I could not find them anywhere else. Take a look and show us what you find. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I did just find this. If its from these guys then I wont be growing knock offs. I would like to know what I am growing too.

This sucks. I want to only grow with stable strains from reputable breeders.

How do you know it's not a stable strain, or the breeder isn't reputable. All my SoS freebies are growing great.
Never know when you might find that treasure. Too much worry about the brand instead of the product.

I'm basically just bumping this thread back to the front, so that Sea of Seeds can find it easily. I received my package, and have issues about what I have received.

I have just sent an e-mail to them, documenting my issues. I mentioned that I started this thread here, which has been of benefit to them.

I will post here when I receive their reply. Should they take care of my complaint, that is all I will post here. Should I remain dissatisfied, I will post details including copies of the e-mails.

Until I have a reply, I'm willing to accept that it could be a misunderstanding. I stated in my mail that I would wait for their reply before posting the complaint here, as it's only fair to first give them a chance to fix it.

I will say that it has nothing to do with speed and success of receiving the order - which was excellent.

I received a reply this morning that says "we are looking into it". I'm not pleased and said so.

Well, that was a bit overboard, but it would be nice to know the facts. Either let us in on what happened or not. Don't tell us something happened, without letting us know what, or there is no sense in saying anything in the first place. This does seem pretty weak.

My Northern Lights x Chronic freebie is the frostiest plant I've grown and also it stinks to high heaven! I took a sample bud off of it the other night and dried it and smoked it last night. Was a decent enough high but it isn't ready yet. Although it turned me into some kind of cuntish comedian type person and gave me a little bit of energy, I'm hoping a week or 2 longer and it will be ready for the chop.

I have a couple of the other freebies too which I'll be cracking open and experimenting new techniques with on my next run. I'm going to have a go at LST and Lollipopping

Hey Gandalf, I totally get what your saying. I'm just not a big fan of the delivery. Berating people and name calling, even if you don't agree with their methods, tends to escalate things. I prefer tactfulness to hostility. Do you want to be part of the problem or part of the solution?

lately, my freebies turn out way better then the paid for stuff. like madshack. its no longer produced. glad i still have one of the two i got, so far the hericules, and exteama, have been big dissapointments. nute shy to beat the band.

And yes, I am using leverage. You may note, that I started this thread to give people here a heads up on what looked like - and still may be - a good deal. You can look through this thread and see orders that SoS received because of that post.

That's their benefit.

Now - I'm unhappy with what I received. As I told them in an e-mail, I could give a flip about the money spent - I'll just order the same items on The Attitude June promo.

I'm giving SoS an opportunity to make it good, before posting details here - everyone makes mistakes, if that's the case. You don't like my technique? Fine. It changes nothing. Maybe you have become too comfortable with rolling over and taking it up the rear. In any case, your objection is noted. Now...go place a big order on SoS and show 'em how much you care.

Even though I don't care for the delivery, I do get why Gandalf is upset. It appears you are trying to use us as some type of leverage.

Maybe a better approach would be to tell us what happened and then let us know if they make it right or not. That would be more beneficial to us, wouldn't piss people off, and you still get to leverage the opinion of RIU. I'm not saying you need to get upset and say, "waaaaagh...they RIPPED ME OFF". Just state the facts and give them a chance to make it right. I don't think anybody would be bothered by that, nor would SOS lose any business.

It seems that you are trying to protect their image in the case that you get what you want, but you are tarnishing yours and theirs as well with the secrecy. We are big boys. We can handle the truth and understand that businesses make mistakes. It is how they handle them that makes the difference. Hopefully they handle your situation better than you.

Indeed I did. Jillybean - been waiting on this strain for a long time. Seems like it is out at the Tude everytime I'm ready to order. Incredible price at SOS with the discount.
